Thank you, if you wouldn't mind using the links in the description, it helps the channel.
@@PlumbingPartsPro This toilet works great! Glad i purchased!
I live in an apartment and the neighbor above me installed one of these and likes to flush it every 10 minutes. It feels like living beneath a restaurant bathroom. The flush can actually be heard a floor below and at the end of the hallway a good 75 feet away. Is that heaven or what? Especially when you are woken up at 3 am in the morning.
When you need to flush alot of waste you need to hold down the flush lever until its gone I know this because they have one of these toilets at the Salvation Army Church and I used to clean there,That's how I know.Very good toilet I will be buying 2 of these in Biscut color for our house!
Here's the real truth about pressure assist toilets: They really are not as effective as everyone says they are. Bowl rinse is usually not great, they are always loud and the flush is crazy sudden, plus 1 gallon per flush is way too short, which means that you can't get all of the waste down in one go.
Some pressure assist toilets also tend to hard clog too, and remember about the exploding Sloan Flushmate 503 conundrum.
Is there any way to buy the entire product instead of in pieces?
I have the gravity fed version of this toilet and it's great!
This probably needs some adjustment in the water pressure coming in. I've seen this perform better than anything, but the inlet has to be a minimum water pressure of 25-40 psi to operate well
do they have an instrument that measures PSI pressure?
I was so sick of clogs, I installed 3 of these pressure assist toilets. (but they were gerber toilets). Eliminated clogs.. only issue was water splatter under the toilet seat. I will be installing 3 more in my new house. A plumber did warn me that sometimes 1 gallon might not be enough to carry the affluent to the curb. Dunno if thats true or not.
I have thought the same thing about limited water but once you wash hands after that follows up the flush with more water.
Trump recommends flushing 15x, especially after a bag of 1/4 pounders.

do you recommend someone buying this toilet or pressure assist toilets in general
So 10 years ago I would have said no. Like anything new there are bugs... I feel they have made adjustments and tweeks to make them work very well. ALSO, they are louder than your normal toilet, like going to a restaurant and flushing the exposed chrome flush valves.
@@PlumbingPartsPro thank you, sound I don't care too much about there will be plenty of sound coming from the bathroom before the flush any way. My concern was reliability of the mechanism.

Should've put a jar of peanut butter in there instead that lil bit of tissue
Yeah or unravel the whole roll then let's see
@@weetzybat Honestly given how good of performers These are this has a chance of passing that. But still, the flush is completely unsanitary and almost always takes 2 flushes on normal use which completely defeats the purpose of low-flow. 1.6 is the lowest a toilet can operate on as seen by 2000's AS Cadets and Kohler Wellworth Ingeniums.
The Government at work. Regulate the gallons a toilet uses so you have to flush 8 times. Genius!
So this vs american standard cadet pressure assist?
I prefer the American Standard
@@PlumbingPartsPro now question is. 1.1 or 1.6. I live in ca. So they don't sell 1.6. But I can get my hands on em right in NV. Not sure if that extra is much difference. The old gravity I have I clog it every day. Were tired of this wussy slow swirl double flush crap lol
I would normally say go with more water however this one impressed me. I would say you can't go wrong with either.
Been thinking of installing one of these in my home but then started reading about the dangers of them exploding. This was happening 5-7 years ago and certain models were recalled. Not sure if these issues were ever addressed (I would assume so). Do your homework
They have one at the golf course cafe’…LOUD, don’t get too close, it may pull you in.
Don’t see this for home use.
KABOOM!
The 1gpf flushmate is one of the models that don’t explode
I believe the 1.4gpf and bigger were the models that blew up and were recalled for replacement
It's amazing how many people don't know how to flush a toilet.
i wish my toilet was like this. you have to flush like 5 times
Why complain. Best toilet as a master plumber I can recommend you.
There are no strands of paper left after any if those flushes. Thats the bubbles in the water bro
LOL you are funny. The paper that is coming back up is not a result of it not being flushed it because the pressure is tearing up the paper into shreds
These are incredible preformers, don't get me wrong, but these ALWAYS need at LEAST 2 flushes! That automatically makes these some of the worst toilets ever. Simply put, these are completely unsanitary. If you want any modern toilet, pay LESS for a Project Source Pro-Flush. Or just try to find a vintage toilet such as the 1950's "Standard" Cadet or 1970's Kohler Wellworth. These are completely unsanitary and overpriced.
NOW try it with paper and 💩 in it. See how it works. 🤷🏽♂️
These are some of the worst toilets ever. I have used these a lot and they require a second flush Every. Single. Freaking. Time. Almost every toilet in existence can take 12 feet of toilet paper so try something different that simulates the real thing.
I have seen alot of pressure assisted toilets and typically not a fan, mainly due to the linkages in the trip lever getting out of wack but this one was pretty decent Especially since it's only a 1 Gallon per flush. There may be some better ones out there but they use 1.6 & 1.28 gpf. It's a good option for someone who wants an ultra low flush.
@@PlumbingPartsPro 1 gallon won't move anything past the bottom of the toilet though and that may cause sewer backups.
Maybe it's the installation tech...
