    What will it be like if "The Dark Crystal" and "Labyrinth" were blockbuster hits since day 1, both with critics, audiences, fans, and at the Box Office? That would be a miracle if that was the case.

      @brockpifer9929 Год назад +5

      Then that would’ve pleased and definitely would’ve motivated Jim to keep doing movies, but after the failures of them that demotivated him and they made him depressed and very sad that he just got back to television fully

      @@reneastle8447 yeah. And one interesting thing that I learned about Jim’s movie adventures with The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth was that he wanted to sort of get a reputation of being an iconic filmmaker and an entertainment icon like on par with his idols and friends George Lucas, Steven Spielberg and Walt Disney. He wanted to be in the same mix as them of being iconic figures especially in film. I always thought he was an iconic figure in film and has always been on par with Lucas, Spielberg and Disney. He thought that the failures of both The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth kinda destroyed his reputation of that and thought he was always a small television figure compared to them. But that’s not true at all definitely

      Who the hell are you... Steve knew that the Muppets were going in the wrong direction and he spoke out for better pay and how the muppets were being treated... Disney killed his vision... None of the newer movies have that Henson magic... Disney ran these guys into the ground.... Thank goodness they did not get their fangs on classic sesame Street....
