My wife scoffed at the idea of a smoked meatloaf. 6 months later it’s a regular request from her. If you’ve not tried one, it is a must. Great video by the way! I am going to have to work on my bark, that one is a beauty.
will do
Smoked meatloaf is so good.
My wife thought I was crazy the first time I did it last year, and after the first bite she looks at me and said it was the best meatloaf she'd ever had lol.
Same here, even I didn't realize how great it would taste. One of my favorite smoke meats now.
I pray Bradley never runs out of recipes 💕🥺
If you feed the "bradley" it will come!
⏯️
I have never binged a channel so quickly and thoroughly. You might be the best cooking / food presenter on RUclips. Funny, informative, creative.
Keep crushing it and I hope to come down to Austin one day.
Dude thank you so much for this, im living in The Netherlands and meatloaf isn't a recipe generally found/made here. But I always wanted to make one. Im saving this video. Thank you and greatings from a Dutchy
I make a bourbon bbq sauce for mine the family loves it.
Put mozzarella in the middle, I promise you won't be disappointed.
Don't listen to the dude above me, I promise it makes meatloaf better. Melty cheese makes everything better, anyone who says otherwise has a shitty palate.
Cheese for the win.
Only bbq channel you need to follow tbh
Let's GO!!! Almost at 100k subs!
Bradley, I made a smoked meatloaf on the grill tonight!!..Went for the brisket style meatloaf...Last night I took ground pork and blended in carrots, onions, garlic and red and yellow bell pepper that was pulsed down in a food processor...Threw some salt, pepper and smoked jalapeno chipotle powder into the blend...Added 2 eggs and a small handful of breadcrumbs for a binder...Tucked it all into a baking dish and let it sit overnight...Today, my 11 year old son/junior sous chef helped me get the Weber Kettle Grill set up with some charcoal briquettes, lump charcoal and some chunks of pecan wood..Set up my homemade metal heat shield and let the meatloaf smoke on a metal tray with indirect for 2 hours...Once the meat started to set up I was able to put the entire loaf directly on the grates for two more hours..Coated the whole thing in black pepper and salt for those last 2 hours....Cut the whole thing into sections and then heated them up in a pan with my homemade BBQ sauce...Served with sauteed vegetables that were heated up with salt, pepper, garlic powder, olive oil and a touch of butter....Thank for the awesome idea bro!....
Congratulations Bradley on hitting 100K 🥳🥳🥳🥳 You deserve all your success - Thank you for bringing so much joy to all our lives.
I am doing it right now! My meatloaf is in the fridge for tomorrow. 1.5 pounds of brisket and 1.5 pound of filet mignon! Really exited!!
Made this on a cold, wet Sunday. Family raved about it. Perfect comfort food. Another win for the Chudmeister👌
This is going into my rotation! Making a few of these this weekend so we have delicious bbq ready to go after my son arrives in a couple weeks! Great idea!!!
Great idea - Smoked Brisket Meatloaf!! I tried this and loved it. I am the Pitmaster at "Uncle Beth's BBQ" in Middletown Ohio. We changed our meatloaf by smoking and adopting the pepper exterior rub and use Angus ground beef (We grind our brisket trim for burgers). Not exactly like what you made in this video but close. We also make one serving size individual meatloaf's at about 10 oz each. The change is well received by our customers. Thanks for the idea. Stop by and see us if you are ever in Ohio.
love these vids ... quick and to the point and also very entertaining
Got lots of brisket time to use up. Might make a nice Sunday treat.
Love it! Definitely great for the season!
Keep up the good work man. You are an inspiration to me as a starting pitmaster. Mostly home cooking but I am passionate and an grateful to see you went from a career you thought you'd always be in to bbq which was unexpected. Keep up the good work.
I don't bbq as much as I would like to so I think I could do all I need using the spilled Fogo from Chud. That meatloaf looks readily good. Another winner.
When I watch your videos and after every ingredient that you put in I’m just shaking my head yesss lol lord your recipes always look so good!
Its honestly disrespectful that this channel isn't at 100k subs by now absolute quality contact
Looks great! being it's the close of hunting season, I would like to see a venison cook. Last one I did was venison backstrap wrapped in bacon!!
Matt from Meat Church suggested freezing the meatloaf for 4 hours and then you can put it directly on the grate so the bottom gets bark to it as well
If you don’t have 1 million subscribers by next year RUclipss algorithm is broken! Your videos are fantastic, entertaining, well filmed and of course with delicious foods
Always a 'treat' to watch your vids!
My son is a vegetarian - despite the copious amount of meat I smoke every week. I'm gonna try this with those plant-based crumbles for him.
Wow that looks amazing! I can’t wait to give this a try.
Great cook Bradley! I would've never thought of creating meat loaf that way. Definitely a keeper recipe..
This looks awesome. I’m going to have to try this.
Didn't think I needed meatloaf in my life today but here we are. Nice job Bradley.
I love when Chud says "loooooking good" 😂
absolutely loved it
Made this while I was home for MLK day and it is terrific. Took the advice and cut the amount of red pepper flakes in half. Very Very Good.
Looks incredible, 100% making it next weekend
Wow! Looked amazing. I need a meat grinder. Already have the smoker and love to meatloaf, but you took it to another level. Cheers Brad!
Finally! Been waiting for this episode since you started.
This is fantastic! I smoke meatloaf often for the wife. I’ve never included carrots though. Might try it out next time.
Best bbq yt channel! Another great recipe
Love the idea of making multiple meatloafs, vacuum pack and freeze for later consumption. Or to take to a dinner party.
Manic spoon fruity is where it’s at! Definitely trying this meatloaf this week.
Congrats on the 100k my dude!
Wow, that looks awesome 👌🏻
DAANNNGGGGG!!! This is the best looking meatloaf I've ever seen 😍 ...and I'm not a huge meatloaf fan. However, this is a must try for me. I can't wait to try it. Thanks for another awesome video brother Bradley 👍🙏
Awesome vid! I still need to grab a grinder because of your videos! I put my loaf in the freezer for at least a half hour before placing in the pit! Holds shape and I get full bark direct on the rack!
Definitely going to try this! Cheers
I've just never been a meatloaf fan...but DANG!!! ...that looked fantAstic! Awesome video. I will be trying this one out.
Yep!!! Gotta try this!
Dude you outdid yourself on this one. That bark looks phenomenal
That smoke ring is crazy! I have to try that.
I don't like to eat traditional meatloaf but I would definitely try this! Great Video
My gosh that looks sooo good!!!!! Too cold where I live to BBQ. I could only get my coals upto 150°C.... can't wait for warmer weather and then summer time to build a bbq Shack!!
Sugary cereal is always a good idea; I would only say it's not a good decision unless I was being sponsored as well. I'm a grown man who's deployed multiple times who has an inner child that loves cereal! I'll eat sugary cereal until I die!
Lmao! Your vids are most importantly, enjoyable and educational!
I just made two on Sunday. I used Dot's Pretzel crumbs, nice boost of MSG and flavor. Pre-cooked the veggies a bit, 275F with cherry chunks on the Grill dome, K-Chup Gochujang-based glaze, so good. Never baking a meatloaf again. Use a breadloaf lined with parchment to easily shape and move around the loaf.
An homage to the late great Meatloaf. Great timing!
100k Congrats Bradley.
Bradly, you are so close to 100K ! Congratulations!
I CANT WAIT TO TRY THIS
Not a huge meatloaf fan due to childhood trauma of one not being fully cooked but hot damn, that one looked amazing!
I think I'll try this. Looks pretty good.
The bit about the dog got me 🤣 love the shots of realism in your vids. Otherwise, meatloaf night was always a night I went to bed hungry but smoking it might change my mind after all!
That's a great looking meat loaf! We tried a meatloaf sandwiches and Over-The-Top chili back in November and highly recommend it. The next time I will try your meatloaf recipe as I think it would really improve the dish!
You sir, are the meat whisperer. 🍖 I love your channel 😊
Wow! Looks great! Gotta try it out. Then add some beef gravy and MAshed potatoes! Perfection! Cheers!
Bradley,
Nice job! I made it with ground turkey on the Kamado.
I will have to make a meat loaf mix in our meat grinder at work,it's huge grinder wich will hold about 200 hundred Lbs. of beef in it, I used to make about a hundred pounds of seasoned ground chopmeat to make meatballs. though I never tried making smoked meatballs for sauce...
awesome job!!
Looks awesome Bradley
That looks amazing
Love it brother!!
Hell yeah, dude - that looks amazing, and I'm now going to go do it myself.
Meatloaf! Of course. That is a great idea for a video. I should have thought of that when you were asking for ideas. Looks good.
Thank you for this!
Bro thank you for being such a nice bbq RUclipsr…I’m tired of the cocky ones like mad scientist bbq (not to name, names lol) but I’m glad I found you
Absolutely killer video
So close to 100k!!! Go chud go!
This dude needs more recognition
Giving this a go tonight !
I'm gonna have to try this
Lol my favorite bbq personality on here!! Killed me with the religious humming 🤣
Heh, getting cold, he says while wearing a short-sleeve Tshirt. I want for a walk nearby at 10:30 this morning in shorts and short-sleeves. Gotta love it!
But, yeah! Smoked meatloaf is in the future.
Vedy vedy nice and looks delicious 👏
Snake in my boot never disappoints! Nice cook Chuds BBQ!
Damn dude. Screw the Meatloaf, I want some of that Magic-spoon!!! Seriously, I want some cereal. lol Oh yeah. Nice meatloaf!
I'll have to give this a go. Thanks
That's a delicious looking meatloaf. I first did a smoke meatloaf a few months ago. I'll probably never do it in the oven again..
I once did this on a cedar plank. Juices/fat got lost a bit but phenomenal in the end.
Mama Mia!!! I'm actually drooooooling here!!🤤🤤🤤
Throw some Cheddar, Jalapenos, and Bacon bits in that bad boy and we can talk!
I wanna see you cook an entire Rib Cap!
😆 OMG…Meatloaf pull-test! 😂 Epic as always sir 👍🇨🇦
LETS GOOO 100K BABYYYYY
I can attest to the fact that vac packing the leftovers and reheating sousvide is perfect. Make sure you throw in a bit of the rendered fat when packing though.
We do something we call poor mans brisket that is basically just a slab of loose ground beef seasoned with salt and pepper and smoked to 150 internal. comes out looking the same as yours, obviously without the veg and other ingredients. I use a vertical cab and put the loaf straight on the rack with a drip pan top catch the rendered fat, which we use to sauce the meat after slicing. Makes a fantastic burger as well. Leftovers are good with eggs too.
Now I know what to smoke this weekend!
Waiting for an official Chud's smoked beef jerky video
Congrats 🎉 on hitting that 100k mark my brother!!! I know that I’m early but it’s a done deal so I wanted to be one of the first. It’s most definitely well deserved!
Must try this
You can put these into mini loaf pans. Everyone gets their own meatloaf!
Great video! Meatloaf pull test, meatloaf burnt ends, smoke ring and barky?!? I don't think I'll ever make meatloaf any other way ever again!!
I was just thinking about this after your last video. You could also put these in smaller loaf trays to produce a TON of burnt ends.
Outstanding!
Nice! - Loveit! - Thanks.
I have my own very lean ground beef from my own cow - I mix-in 20% bacon for burgers, but I'm gonna make a meatloaf now! - Cheers!
"the ole tapa tapa" - shout out to chef John there, nice!
You know it!
Holy smokes that looks awesome! That bark…
