Part 2 of 2: Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of GRAND THEFT AUTO 4 IV for the Xbox 360 video game console! The online was terrible be cuz of all of the ppl that hacked their systems. Ppl who can't play have to cheat I guess.
those are probably mods you entountered dude. Its a level of fun you cant concieve, being a console player.
Mods in GTA 4 make the game 100x better IMO

in gta 3 and vc you could barely walk a block and get tired.
Goliath DoesFlash And there was hardly anything left to do after you finish the game.
Tapping run made it where you can run a lot longer than holding the button down.
biveydoc1 And than Rockstar noticed that and made it so to sprint you have to tap the run button.

5. Grand Theft Auto III - Still a classic but does not hold up that well
4. GTA IV - It is still fun and it works decent enough but I even when it released I thought it was overrated
3. GTA: Vice City - Still a blast to play, only complaint is the map is small
2. GTA V: This game is amazing and the online competent is just insane
1. GTA SA: Best story and had the most fun with, (slightly more than GTA V)

Well to get games to output in HD as wellas an HDTV you also need an HDMI cable for the best picture & sound quality for 360 it should automatically change to HD settings (in 720p you'll have to go to console settings if you want to change it to 1080i or 1080p) when you connect the HDMI cable & for PS3 when you've connected the HDMI cable you need to hold the power button on the front of the system until you hear 3 beeps & then on-screen it'll let you set your HD output
even after all this time GTA never gets old
because Mark wanted to do it in 360p and and i dont think there was any 1080p in 2008, not sure though
For GTA 4, yes they do. Even if you buy it from Windows Live, the players still get tracked from Steam Stats because you need a Windows Live account to even buy the Steam version, and those are the only two ways to play the PC version unless you pirate it but then you can only play on cracked servers which no one plays on.

If you can easily figure out the driving cars and driving people mad/dead, then get the Episodes of Liberty City. Both episodes have better storylines (though greatly shorter) and more weapons.
Both had their perks over the other. 4 had better graphics, story and controls but SA had a much larger world, more customization options, and types of vehicles. Both are still legendary games that will forever stand out just like the previous installations of the series.

@TDUShelby I know all that but if you are thinking in a PC, there is not even a reason to spend so much more money in 4 games, because you'll buy the system and then these games together can get really expensive

@DBOwnz well im not looking for a fight here. i'd say both are the same: 3rd person, sandbox, action-adventure genre but i think its just everyone's opinion are much different than yours or mine.
And I don't know what people are talking about saying no one plays it anymore. I just played a 16 player deathmatch last night that was loads of fun.

2. People don't hate this game, they think it sucks.
3. GTA IV's storyline is better than the storyline of Vice City/San Andreas, but it's NOT as fun as the previous storylines.
4. The only funny things in GTA IV are the physics [crashing into cars, jumping etc] and discovering some of the game's myths [there are few and most of them suck comparing to the easter eggs in San Andreas].
5. SA and VC will always be better because of the gameplay & atmosphere.

What really made this game for me much better than all the other GTAs was the Euphoria physics engine. Just being able to run over people and their bodies fly everywhere was just amazing.

it's probably the most complex of storylines
formula for the perfect gta- Humor and atmosphere from vice city + all the stuff in san andreas + gta 4 graphics
looking back at this review, mark had a much more serious tone back then...
yeh that would be amazing maybe a cover system aswell and a phone aswell trophies
@DEXTER7718 Or because compared to the previous GTA's there was absolutely nothing to do in terms of fun, I hope this is rectified in GTA V.
there are alot more players on the EFLC than on the original IV, most likely because of the extra features in the EFLC MP
@xuniversemonterey - this is the 360 version (look at the controls tutorial @ 6:22) but besides that, there no difference between the ps3 and 360 version...
The guy who presented this was pretty entertaining, and the video clips were actually more original than jumping out of cars into on coming traffic
OMG I knew there was someone who thought like me San ANdreas had SO much you could do in it, it never got boring. They should remake San Andreas with better graphics but leave everything else the same.

Neither do I, my pc is ultra laggy on the lowest setting in GTA IV
it ranges from 25 FPS to 15 on GTA IV -.-

Online is still active (the game only released a few years ago so the servers will remain open for years)
Their was still quite allot of people playing last time I checked (That was a few days before Skyrim came out :D ) defiantly more than their was on the Xbox 360 version.
Also mods draw allot of people back to the game if their good enough. ( Shame my PC has barley any memory left to store them)

@megapanka actually i have both games...they are different from eachother. Saints row goes for over the top action, while GTA 4 goes for realism. Saints row 2 doesn't take itself too seriously, while GTA 4 does. I like GTA 4 better, but i still enjoyed Saints Row 2. It was a hell of a lot of fun. I like that the gunplay in saints row 2 was really simple (reminded me of Gun without the quick draw), but i really really like the cover system in GTA 4.

Well, while the PC version is supposed to be better, why don't you get it for consoles? The 360 version has slightly better color, but the PS3 version has both better anti-aliasing and better draw distance (which, to me, is more important.)
every console gta4 is on has multi
the pc just has more player slots for a server pc can go up to 30 player's per server/lobby other consoles only have 16

Well okay, that makes sense. It's a moot point right now because I'm not allowed to play it. I keep trying to find a loophole. Also, can't you export videos so you don't have to be in game to view it?
I want a gaming PC so I can play games like Crysis and Half Life 2 on ultra high. Crysis 2 is out too, so that would be a good purchase. I'm going to get both an ATi and NVidea card so I can get the PhysX on Mafia II. I don't know a lot about PCs, but I'm going to get a new one soon.

I get any where from 15 to 60 it stays around the 40-50 but it jumps around a lot.

Well, that's another reason why I'd want to get it on PC. There's COUNTLESS real-world cars you can download and use in GTA IV (McLaren F1, to be certain) and other mods to download. If I thought the traffic count was a little too few for a realistic depiction of NYC, there's a mod to put CRAPLOADS of traffic cars on screen! When you download a bunch of real-world cars along with it, you get an even MORE realistic depiction of NYC!
I have both PS3 and 360, but I want a gaming PC.

I agree. Unless you're talking about something else, I know what you mean. The Alienware Area 51 is a GORGEOUS piece of work (look it up), but it's... too expensive for the average person to comprehend. Well, that and I can't remember the exact price. (*cough*over 2,000*cough*).

GTA1 was first and had Liberty City, Vice City and San Andreas (don't know certain, i've never played it but reliable sources say so) and none are like they were then.

@megapanka ill agree with you there if i use all my spare time on videogames i can beat SR2 in 2 days GTA4 would take me like 2 months GTA SA would take me like 7months
I wasted a year on the original iv. (And almost one extra on the dlc) and it was and still is AWESOME

This multiplayer is fun, but after playing RDR's multiplayer so much I just can't go come back to this one.

not when the game first came out, I mean I got it like 5 months the game came out and every game mode I joined was choc full of people. You really do have to admit that the multiplayer is addicting at some point...
Every time play gta online I sometimes get disconnected and stuff. Does that happen to everyone? And I've never been in a game with over 4 ppl cause it always kicks me out.. The multiplayer fun it's just hard to find good games :(
Plus, I don't get tired of Halo for 2 reasons, 1: It has AT LEAST adequate EVERYTHING. Noothing about it is bad, but nothing about it is perfect
2: I learned how to use forge...like...REALLY well...And, dude, lemme tell ya there is some SERIOUSLY crazy shit you can do with forge.

I think it depends on your computer, but XP is a bit slow...

when ever i go to the free mode with my buddie we cant put the cops on, how do i put them on, i already went to prefrences then put "cops" "on" but it wont work, someone please help
