I've had similar problems with Korda hooks blunting over the last year, I love some of the patterns but I just can't trust a hook with such a soft, fragile point. Had the same experience with Guru hooks as well, would need to change hooks every 5th fish as they'd become too blunt to hook a maggot without popping it. Might be time to go back to the lab and look at a different metal composition/alloy or manufacturing process to harden the points
DjDolHaus86 Try the Kaptor hooks..... I dont have a problem with them blunting myself, at least not premiturely... but again, all hooks will blunt eventually, and the sharper they are the quicker they will blunt.
The Kaptors are better but I refuse to pay a premium to make something function at an acceptable level. I've been doing this for 20 years so please don't get the impression I don't understand how/why hooks blunt, the fact is there are many other hooks on the market that have equally sharp points but don't go blunt so easily.
DjDolHaus86 So if you know why hooks blunt what exactly are you complaining about? look i dont want an argument, i was just saying that the hooks are very sharp as hooks go... which means they blunt quicker.... same thing with Fox Arma point hooks.. Or any other brand you choose.. its the nature of a sharp hook, you either except they can blunt quicker or you buy cheaper hooks in the first place.. which then you will still moan they are not sharp enough...
Great video and stunning captures. Carp fishing at Gigantica, certainly on my bucket list !!

+DjDolHaus86 I think its just the nature of having proper sharp hooks..
Not really, they're no sharper than other manufacturers out of the pack, they just don't hold their points well.
