Change the cut out valve spring with a lighter spring....how much lighter...approx same or.slightly heavier than the spring against which the blunt needle of diaphragm presses onto... Clean carb wd throttle.body cleaner...all holes passages few times....petrol not to b used as it will not dissolve carbon, dirt ,muck inside those holes passages....cleaner has acetone and other chemicals under high pressure for excellent effect.... This should get rid of ur problem of wavering rpm....infact once u succeed....put back the original spring....and u will see same problem back again....😂😂😂😂 Fuel screw should b at 3 full turns out from close....for start Factory setting is 4 full turns out....if u get black plug clean carb again... Diaphragm of throttle body, air cut out valve should not have holes or tears....replace if needed Clean air suction/injection valve....pipe supplying vauum to the cut out valve should b in gud condition and clean Off course piston compression, valve clearance, air filter condition etc should b within factory limits DR J S KALSI BDS PUNJAB INDIA i own a 2003 model karizma...totally stock except handle bar...done only 23500 km till now....mileage in city is about 36kmpl...highway about 53...if i drive in 50--60 km limit.... 😮
Throttle body cleaner cleans the passages wch petrol cannot.... wd passage of time.... Valve overlapping at closure of exhaust stroke and opening of inlet valve/stroke causes some amount of carbon blow back into carb...u cannot rectify this...its in all 4 stroke engines So this carbon deposit...any dirt from airbox side, petrol residue...etc causes changes to internal diameter of passages,holes etc....reducing air flow...as the result the amount of petrol increases so mixture becomes rich....... So basically...altering stoichiometric ratio....cleaner helps to restore it back.... 😮
Hopefully the mileage question is also answered now....seen most comments on mileage....its all in ur WRIST and ur BRAIN....😮...most kids buy powerful bikes and zip around....u cannot get mileage if u dont drive sedately... If u have " kitna deti hai" mentality....buy spendour or platina....forget performance bikes....its like someone wd a hayabusa....wanting a platina/boxer/splendour type mileage...from a 4 cylinder engine....😂😂😂😂😂
