Rdr2 was not more intensive. Console CPUs are trash, especially PS4 and XBOX ONE. Just cause 3 requires a good quad core cpu but these Consoles use AMD jaguar cpus, which were first used in laptops in 2012. Rdr2 uses a different engine which is better optimised, and it doesn't have cpu intensive stuff like explosions, debri etc.... Like just cause 3.

I found Just Cause 3 to be a more fulfilling game. I started playing Just Cause 4 and it felt like a much more scattered experience. I've only played through about 10% of it and haven't gone back.

Im currently playing on ps4 and its much worse than this. Its like 14 frames per second sometimes even lower.Truly terrible optimization

this game is very well optimized, I am able to run it as far up as 150fps on my acer nitro 5
