Thanks, I've had my backpack sprayer for some years now, went to spray this past month and it is leaking at the nozzle. A bit of fiddling at the nozzle did not resolve anything. I thought I might get new gaskets tips and such & may still need to replace those parts. But your vid was very helpful and I am going to clean mine now. 🙂
thanks, i bought a Chapin "Professional" 4-gallon sprayer in 2022. It worked ok for two years. Fired it up today 03.30.2024 and it was leaking Roundup on my hands and feet through the dial/meter. Roundup leaking on you is a bad thing. If u have this problem 1. unscrew dial and stick a round toothpick in dial brass threaded fixture and break it off 2. place a square of plastic wrap over now-blocked end of brass threaded dial fixture and screw it -- easy does it -- into plastic receiver. 3. don't buy this piece of shit, keep on looking
I started doing that early -- but I kept pointing the camera the wrong way 😣 I will be working in more of a selfie style format when I get a new camera this fall that has a screen facing forward. I use GoPro and they've lacked that until just this month when the new model came out. Stay tuned, and hope you're not too disappointed 😉
Thanks, I had this issue and this solved it for me
You are quite welcome!
