The Suhr team and yourself Pete have smashed it out of the park and well into the future with this amp. Best sounding current amp on the market. Now if you can help out an ol' deaf fella and release a 30-50w with 34's....pleeeeease...!
If I had to pick an amp circuit design for a desert island, I may go with a Plexi style EL34 type design, but since I got one, a multi channel 6V6 is for sure tempting. The IR and Reactive Load tech is also a great addition. I think most guitarists, if they can afford it, should have 6V6, 6L6, EL34 and EL84 type amps. They all distort differently and give varieties of vibe. This demo really covered the bases. Would like to see how it sounds with a band on cleans and CH 2. Great riffage!
Great demo. Kudos to Suhr (both father and son) and Pete for taking the tube amp forward. The gain sounds are tremendous. Still haven't heard that much on the clean side. Every demo does 5% on the clean and the rest on the gain channels. Can I get a glassy SRV sounds in addition to the Marshall-esque, Vox-esque sounds?
Really smart amp. Sounds great, versatile and solves a lot of problems. Love that it’s an actual great sounding tube amp. The voicing is a little to modern for me, but I’m sure I could dial in some cool tones?
Hi! You'll notice the tone change a LOT from channel to channel- that's the IR's, which provide a lot of flexibility. So between the amp controls, and the ability to use a different IR to change the voicing, you can really dial in a huge range of sounds. Want a more "vintage" voicing, just pick something like a pre-rola greenback in a vintage 2-12" or 4-12" cab.... etc. Hope this helps!
I really like what I hear. I need to use it live, though, and would love to see a dB meter during the demo to gauge if it's actually got the stage volume needed. (Yes, I know this - very excellent, as always from Peach - didn't use a cab.). Somebody saying "it's loud enough for live" is great, but I need to see the dB level. :)
Jack you have the TC50 that I'm a big fan of but I have no need for something that huge, is there any shot this could be considered a mini relative to that amp?
We now have the PT15 with no load and IR's, it is substantially less ($500 less in the USA). It's just a bit more than a Suhr Badger, and you get a full 3 channels of all tube made in USA goodness.
So Jack, you get to try all the cool amps at Peach. What do you have at home? Your an amazing player by the way. You must have worked really hard to get so good :-)
I'm sure at some point Pete will record some more clips with the PT-15 and it's IRs directly into DAW software. What I'd like to hear is what the regular player is going to experience/hear when he's going direct with IRs into his scraping by used Mackie or Peavey PA. This is the reality most players will have to live with. Admittedly, I'm an older player and I love and am used to a cranked 100w 2x4x12 stack or 3 Brian May style connected Vox AC30/6TB amps. I want to feel as well as hear it and feel my guitars and amps interact with each other. I think, for me, a PowerStation 2 is as far as I can go into this brave new world.
Do you think the channel one is more of a blackface or vox kinda vibe ??? I like two rock chimey sounds, wondering if this can pull that off in the cleans. . (Is 15 enough headroom??)
josh.villoch hopefully you’ve got an answer in the last four months, but it’s pretty blackface sounding. It’s basically the same as the Bella and playing them side by side with the same settings, they are almost identical (the Bella has some low mid thing going on that isn’t quite as present to my ears with the pt15)
@@SteveHubbardGuitar it’s solid… it’s not dr z loud but with my tele I can run it with both gain and volume on the clean channel at noon and keep up with a drummer. It’s got some muscle
There are loads of great features of this amp we wanted to get across to you all, this was to really illustrate how many great tones you can get and how versatile the PT-15 really is! If you want to go straight to the playing section of the video go to: 07:17 (I've put this in the description now to). Hope you enjoy!
Thanks for the terrific video, guys! Great job!

Probably the most interesting amp to arrive on the scene in the last decade. Jack’s playing makes it sound awesome (Hammer to Fall!!)
Excellent demo Jack! Pete Thorn would be proud. My goodness......all good things from this amp.
Auen73 I’m totally proud! :)

Jack nails it everytime. That Queen-esque part was f-ing aces.
Cheers
Don’t Dream It’s Over! Very nice Jack.
Peach Demos really became top of the Line! Great review, great playing, great sounds .... !
Good demos from Peach and this guy is a top player. Cheers

Frank Greco that is my same question here man!!!!! If it can do the glassy & chimey sounds this amp is a winner for me!!!
josh.villoch Me too

Very nice amp, lovely guitar and some impressive playing - thank you
I will be moving into a new apartment and I will not be able to play as loud as I once could. I have really been thinking about buying this amp.
Your playing is incredibly good!

great video, you guys do a great job demoing gear!!
Peach Guitar reviews are the best, and I watch them all.

There seems to be a slight delay in time when switching channels. Does that happen with the stock footswitch?
Hello good people @Peach Guitars ... What would you go for ? Mesa Mark 5 or PT 15 ?
Are you able to setup patches on that HX Stomp that also changed the channels on the amps?
Really nice sounds
It sounds killer, even better than Pete's demo ! Well done Jack you're really an awesome guitar player!
Wicked tone!
Sounds great!
Awesome Amp
Sounds great, but that head is very expensive. There are many other options to get a sweet tone for less, especially when you don't need IRs, like me!

Hi David, you can check out Jack's channel here where he makes videos from his home studio! bit.ly/3tlh59f
Killer Queen tone!

10 people don't like this amp?? They must be acoustic guitarist.

paul Parker ‘waffles’ is entirely the wrong word. Waffles implies meaningless. This is all good info.
