  • Bhaktapur Durbar Square is one of the most famous cultural and historical sites in Nepal, located in Bhaktapur, about 13 km east of Kathmandu. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its well-preserved ancient architecture, temples, courtyards, and statues from the Malla dynasty.
    Main Attractions in Bhaktapur Durbar Square:
    1. 55-Window Palace (Pachpanna Jhyale Durbar)- A historic royal palace with intricately carved wooden windows.
    2. Vatsala Temple - A stone temple dedicated to Goddess Vatsala, known for its beautiful bell (also called the "Bell of Barking Dogs").
    3. Nyatapola Temple- A five-story pagoda-style temple dedicated to Goddess Siddhi Lakshmi, the tallest temple in Nepal.

    5. Golden Gate (Sundhoka)- A stunning gilded entrance to the 55-Window Palace.
    6. Dattatreya Square -Another historic square with the Dattatreya Temple, dedicated to the three Hindu deities: Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva.
