An Epic day in Iznajar, Cordoba Spain

Come with us as we spend an epic day in the enchanting hilltop town of Iznajar in Cordoba's Sierras Subbeticas. Andalucia, Spain is jam-packed with whitewashed villages, and we have been to a whole lot of them, Iznajar captured our hearts straight away with the impeccable patios, colored with pot plants and sweeping views, over idyllic landscapes and the biggest lake in Andalucia. A lake made by Franco in the 60's which made the locals of Iznajar had to flee their homes which are still sitting at the bottom of the calm lake. From walking the fortified walls of the Moorish castle to swimming at the lake's beach, there is so much to do in Iznajar that we wished we had more time there!

I've really gotten interested in Spain (especially Andalucia) because I plan on moving there from the United States.

It seems beautiful! Also, it's much more financially feasible for me compared to the United States.
What is your opinion on Martos? I know it's not a tourist destination, but it looks like a good place to live. I'm looking at houses in the old part of town, hoping for a beautiful view from my terrace.
