BIG changes are coming to the weather pattern over North America over the next 7 to 10 days. This includes a building heat wave across the Western U.S. for places like Seattle, Sacramento, Los Angeles, and Phoenix. Severe weather will quiet-down for a time before returning and migrating further north into parts of the Northern U.S. for places like Minneapolis, Chicago, Milwaukee, and Des Moines later this month!

Do you think we’ll lose the possibility of a derecho going more into July around the upper Ohio valley?

I think the Ohio Valley needs to watch for complexes of severe storms to move through between Father's Day weekend and the end of the month of June. July is very uncertain as it's several weeks away.

Was hoping for a derecho or two and some active severe weather in the Chicago region... nothing yet as been participated, just been alot hit/miss action and normal rain... hopefully by mid-late June going into July, see some action than.
