You have confused Tom Jones, the Lyricist who wrote the Fantastiks, who is 95 years old and lives in Connecticut, USA and died at age 95, with Tom Jones, welsh singer who is alive and 83 years old. Take this down.
They didn't get anyone confused! It is just deliberately contrived clickbait, so that they'll get hundreds or thousands more views/votes. Lots of these 'social media' information channels do it, but this one's really bad.
In this case they played on people's feelings, fears & emotional connections to Sir Tom Jones.
If they meant the other Tom Jones, then the text, video and pictures would've actually have been about the 'other' one. They CANNOT claim it was just a simple mistake, because in their research they WOULD have noticed the difference.
