I never knew it was a “secret” that the key to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher was held by a Muslim family. My mother and father are Armenian and my mother was born and raised in Jerusalem. My father too lived there for a time growing up. My mother’s family has lived in Jerusalem for hundreds of years. And yes, this is a fact. I always knew that and know quite a lot about Jerusalem (the old city). I guess it’s quite a privilege. My parents always speak of it so longingly and fondly. It’s quite a powerful spiritual place.

I don't know much about the Jesus story, but didn't he go to the Cross voluntarily to pay for humans sins? If he ran away, he would have wasted the reason he was born among humans.
