Together for the first time - the founder of Parkour, the founder of Freerunning and one of the best traceurs in the world.
This was a great day for the Tour. It was our last day and we decided to delay our return home to visit our old friend Sébastien Foucan in Lisses, birthplace of Parkour. He had mentioned to us that David was keen to meet with Daniel but we didn't know quite what to expect. And then, while we were in the middle of something else, he joined us.
The three of them spoke for a while about movement, family and other things. I know everyone will want to hear every breath of their conversation but it wouldn't be right. Although it happened on our Tour it was essentially a private moment and we should respect that.
In the excitement of RUclips videos it's easy to forget that these people have their private lives and they need to keep somethings just for themselves. David was there to meet Daniel, not to be filmed or interviewed by us.
After they had shared stories and experiences we took everyone out for a big lunch of moules frite followed by waffles - the meal of kings!
So this is the last of our documentaries episodes from the Parkour Tour 2010. There will be a few more 'best of' videos and some outtakes later this week. Thank you for watching the videos and supporting us along the way.
We will be back in 2011!

Even though we didn't get to hear their conversations, seeing these legends together at the birthplace of Parkour is extremely inspiring in itself.
All the Masters
"I didn't feel like there's much to be said really, because I feel like I already know him as a person through the expression through his movements", I had the opportunity to talk to Daniel once, but I prefered to watch his movements instead, now I know why.
As most other people have said in the comments, yeah it would have been nice to see the three of you training together, but at the same time its really quite refreshing to see just how close the parkour comunity from around the world is with each other, and its really nice to see how you can just sit and talk together as if you've been friends for years, this really showed that special connection so many of us as practitioners can relate to.
so thanks daniel and all the guys from brink for this
That was the golden age of parkour. Man I miss those times.
3 of my heroes in a row all hanging out that's so cool
I had a giant smile on my face throughout this whole video.
Watching this video is like reading the last pages of a book... thank you for all the beautiful movement and all the inspirational stuff :)
замечательный репортаж приятно было увидеть "старые" знакомые лица :)
excellent reportage was pleased to see the "old" familiar faces :)
im glad that there wasn't any of David, Sebastian and Daniels talk there. David has been interviewed hundreds of times and i dont think he has much left to say, would have liked to have seen some movement with the three of them, but this is very inspirational.
All of you are truly a great inspiration for me. You encouraged me to stand up and run, choosing my own way. I think this is a lesson for everybody. It's not only about Parkour, its about life itself.
This video has such a good vibe. It is filled with love and respect. Just shows how beautiful world is and what great people it has. Thank you parkout tour.

The real big 3
3 BEST Parkourists.. I LOVE THEM...!
Danny this is your journey of life.
EPIC!
the media is destroying what parkour truly is, which means its up to us to remind them.
they need to meet up more
what are the best pants and shoes to freestyle run in?
Three gods :D sooooo awesome seeing them chillin togeva :)
@BlacksVideos Stephane Vigroux ( member of PKGEN ), said in a interview: "there was a group who created a discipline and called it art du deplacement ( the yamakasi I believe ), than David called it parkour, than sebastien called it freerunning. But its all the same."
Haha Seb's poses at the end were jokes, he's a funny guy :D
@rogersmg for pants, i suggest using just normal sweatpants, they feel really good when freerunning and doesnt restrict your movement. and for shoes it depends, but i use the k swiss ariake, they have really good grip. or you could get the kalenji's or the KO's.
yeah! Parkour is not about showing off. I hate people who do that, they only do it for selfish purposes, they don't understand the true meaning of it. Parkour is about feeling it when you do it, to improve day a day and feel proud of yourself, to follow your own way and do the impossible to achieve it. We need to recover the meaning of parkour and make people understand it. That a traceur is part athlete, part artist and part philosopher.
Hahaha Love Sebastiens "Oh my God!" at 1:04
@ParkourTour you should come to america for your next tour by then my team will be ready to run with the best =)
@TeamSilentEcho what state?

@madbeatz Nice catch!
Wow, it would've be amazing to come with you guys, it looks like you had some amazing times there! :D Best regard~Quinn
Havent even watched it yet, letting it load, but holy shit.
@201Nodri......... fail. David Belle is founder of Parkour.. Sébastien Foucan is the founder of Freerunning.
Very nice =D
ok it's over but it was amazing tour
@zartgamer
Depends. Most traceurs have diffrent opinions about that.
The orginal name was l'art du déplacement, then parkour and freerunning was about, but according to all of the founding members, It's all the same thing with diffrent names. What defines it is according to them the spirit; selfdicipline, control, focus, helping others, humility, determination etc. Usefull movements is the base, other stuff such as acrobatics, dancing, is for fun and play.
Follow your own path =)
@TeamSilentEcho seriously?!! how?! i am SO jealous!! have fun :)
The best in the game
@2010Nodari David Belle is the founder of Parkour. Don't even try to argue that.
I believe David is being quiet because he just let's his movement talk for him. and Daniel obviously understands that.
haha, this guy, sebastian, has a really strong axé... u can feel the energi just by looking at him in the video..
Could anyone tell me what this place is called? I remembered seeing this as a teenager an now coming back because I want to try to visit now that I'm an adult.
It's a place called Lisses, pretty close to Paris.
Was that joann zephyr leroux at 2:00?
@zartgamer Parkour teaches to get the fastest way from point A to point B.You're Movements should be efficiently.Free Running deals more about athletic movements (Frontflips,Backflips,Sideflips),but to be efficiently is secondary in free running.
1:05 lololololol "kids do not try this at a park" XD
@pKelMit Seb is a very happy person in any situation. If you visit his channel (freerunningtv) you can see that he's always happy, always "wow!" and stuff like that. David has his reasons. Parkour has been modified, it's not seen the way he wanted it to be seen. It's practically spoiled. And now he's meeting up with Seb, founder of Freerunning and one of the most egoistical tracers ever (no offense, Daniel). I didn't even expect him to show up.
@daze3movement i think parkour is something open to interpretation, but of course i agree 100% with you, some people say that ''parkur'' is doing flips and juping off buildings, although is an pratice(i dont know how to express it with words) that takes years to actualy understand it and then do it,i realy dont know how to express how i feel about parkour,im starting in it,learning the basics like vault and landings nd etc,but when i do it,i dont know i just feel good about myself.XD
@BlacksVideos Yes. It seems to me those guys never reach an agreement about their discipline, creating a little bit of confusion.
In the documentaries with Foucan ( jump london, jump britain ) he by himself, uses both words (parkour/freerunning) to describe the discipline.
In a interview Shaun Belle Din ( former yamakasi ) says he dont use the word "parkour".
ohhh
great video
but i was hope to see david talk more..
David's the best. He's the father of parkour and free running ;]]
Africa is the father of pakour and free running ;)
Together for the first time? I was sure these guys grew up together.
