Nice intro, and nice idea for a video. I just needed something like this. I've been permanently fake claiming Coroner and it might be limiting me a bit.
Not gonna lie you're kinda underrating it. The biggest benefit IMO is that you won't get attacked by any other evil if you're Coroner and even the town doesn't really care about you. It's also not that unlikely for the killer to always be the Conj since that's the role with the highest priority. But yeah I mainly claim it as Coven and it works out moderately well, and you can full confirm yourself to town if you hit an immune and guess them as a confirmed neutral killing.
You can also make your non-killing covs more trustworthy since you confirm they aren't killing. Obviously invest can do the same but in my experience it's one of the most common evil claims. Coroner just seems more trustworthy since it's more of a background character role.
You should also mention that while being unique TPOW roles are also capped at 3 per match unless using a modded list. Source: pipetrons comment section.
one note i have is that investigator's percept is actually incredibly useful: you should always be percepting n1 as invest since you're likely not going to find anyone with blood, and if you go on the tplo call you might see any number of evil roles (arso, pb, hex, pm) who would typically go undetected. this makes claiming invest risky, since people will expect you to percept night 1 but you risk getting info wrong, like an arsonist or werewolf you didn't see noticing the inconsistency.

Admirer should be D tier cuz if u claim admirer and theres an nk they will usually target you for a double kill and out both you and your teammate. The only good thing i can think for a fake admirer claim is if you are jester or exe and you claim someone denied you. Fun jester tip claim coroner and DONT put a killer in your will they will demand to know who coven killing is respond with something like what do you mean its coven you can see it in the graveyard. They never see it coming.
An important thing about exe is that it had defense. Ive had a game as ww where i was attack N1 by coven and knew they would try and push me as a fake claim, so i deleted my will and went exe.
Sometimes, when I'm useless town, I say (day 1) : "sheriff n1 4(sus)" Then I put in my will that if I die, it's probably 4. I once hanged the coven leader because of this (even though I'm dead)

I think Doom became a panic fake claim for NA at this point, so whenever an apoc pops out I sus Doom claims immediately :D Crusader is indeed an underrated fake claim.
Re: Admirer fakeclaim What can work is that if an evil role dies day 2 you can claim in toxic with them. Evils tend to not write Admirers in their wills, it's not in their interest. Just fakeclaim sileced for a day then admit you're TS in toxic. (Just ensure you don't get seen visiting by a socialite...xD)
I wish more players would use this strat, especially since you can't propose again after being in a toxic relationship! Admirer can propose from N2, so this strat can work if an evil dies N2, D2 is a bit too early for them to die.
Fake claiming admirer is how I once won as solo Enchanter in AA. Since I felt like I was screwed regardless, I sent it into the pros with the hope no TP were left. Enchanted them as pros and added "Grubby George proposed to me, I declined" in the will.
One of my favorite tos1 fake claims was claiming tracker as a consort. It had the benefit of being soft confirmed as well as allowing you to rb anyone to your hearts content (compared to claiming escort which doesn’t allow you to rb powerful roles) I’m not sure if it would work well with poisoner.

How can you steal a confirmed claim without Enchanter? They will just claim that they're the real town and if they're hanged you will be hanged the following day. I don't feel like a good claim is simply a one day claim, usually they are supposed to keep you alive for longer so you can win, not to simply out yourself, just my take though.

hypothetically sure they could lie and do that, but that's a very proactive play that realistically doesn't happen. coro isn't a high priority target for coven to put effort into getting mislynched like that unless they really are fake. necro passing does give fake coro claims more room to lie, but if you get that first autopsy wrong, you better believe coven is still gonna notice and you're gonna get pushed by an opportunistic coven who is looking to secure more good boy points for themselves

back when i played this game i realized that claiming lo or track is really bad as ww, so id instead claim invest because if you track cks scent it makes you look like town (and people expect ww to claim track) also, remember when fake claiming retri, higher numbers get priority so if you claim corpse missing as 2 then you are saying that 1 is 100% retri

Haven't played town of Salem 2 yet, so I have a question. Does coroner have any provable information other than knowing who the killer was? Because, if not, It seems like as Mafia you should get the the killing role to false claim a different killing role in the death note the moment a coroner tries to give information. Seems like you might steal a free hang one out of every couple of games. Also if you do it often enough and make it a known play it also makes cornoner better claim down the line.
On days you choose a corpse to Autopsy to know who's the killer and it gets added into a killer list. Then, during nights you visit somebody to check whether they are or not any of the killers of the killer list

i guess i skipped over it in the video by accident, but pirate should be more like top of D tier, probably above jailor some of the buffs of claiming pirate are: TI have no reason to check you, it can make your teammates look like they're not a killing role, neutrals will likely leave you alone and potentially even expose themselves to you in a best case scenario cons: being counter-claimed by a real pirate, vigis wanna shoot you to prove themselves, being pressured by town to say "who'd you pirate" when there's no coven/bers/shroud kills, if your coven die you run out of ppl to claim pirated, if all your coven are alive you probably were gonna win regardless of what you claimed, if you die your entire coven team is pretty toast its an all or nothing claim that could potentially go horribly wrong, but it does get bonus points for being funny and uncommon

tpow limit is almost never an issue, since even worst case scenario theres many exscuses to fake claim tpow as "town" eg as jailor or as vet or baiting a rit as a useless town role ect
You can fake claim death under 2 circumstances: Either you want to draw attention away from your teammate who is death, or because you are jester.

Nah, my last AA game had the mayor, the prosecutor, the monarch and the jailor. And 2 TPs and 2 TI’s. Town lost and SK won 💀
