I'm in Georgia so yup, HOT. I also harvested herbs to dry and dehydrated. First I washed them put batches in salad spinner til it was a lot dryer then I rolled in a dish towel before putting in dehydrator. That lessened the time for each batch of herbs ( only 4 lbs of peppermint, oregano, basil, skullcap, a couple others). It's getting up early to get them harvested before the sun gets to baking you. Love your videos and your layout.

I garden in Sunny Crazy Hot SoCal. I get up before the sun and birds in the summer (4:45am)!! I quit and go instead when the temps hit 96 to 98 sometimes around 10:00 am. Then come back out around 6ish when it starts to dip below 100 degrees. I have to use ollas and drip irrigation just to try and stay ahead of the heat. In summer, may have to water twice a day.

In the garden, there are vining plants. A cucumber is such. It has tentacles that attach to whatever is near enough to grab ahold to. It is interesting that vining plants seldom vine down. They tend to always vine up.
We can take a lesson from these plants in regards to what we allow to attach to us. We must be diligent by The Grace of God to not allow any person, place, thing, or idea attach on to us that will prove to be invasive in the wrong way because this vining will certainly travel up. Up is where your head is. When things take ahold to our head, they are pretty much locked in there. That is way it is extremely hard to change the way we think about certain things. At some point there was an attachment that made its way over time straight to our head. Since we tend to operate inside our head, we must know and understand that we need the Help of The Holy Ghost to know when to say,
“No, don’t even go there.” Then start making your way to your safety zone: JESUS! It is not an exaggeration to say this needs to be an everyday-all day long endeavor.🙏🏽

There is a saying that says, “God has no grand children.”
This basically means that what goes for one, goes for all. If God tells us to do or not to do a thing, He means it. That goes for the preacher, deacon, doctor, and lawyer. That goes for the teller at the bank, the movie star, the Sunday School teacher, the truck driver, and the maid. That goes for the President, the Secretary of State, and car detailer. That goes for the baby sitter, the professor, and the janitor. That goes for the young, the old, and the
in-between. That goes for the soldier, the grandma, grandpa, and the cashier at Walmart. That goes for ALL!
There are no loopholes and clauses. There are no wherefores, and exemptions.
While we relish God’s Mercy and His Grace, we must NEVER take what God Says for granted. It makes no difference who you are, what you got, how long you been who you are, and what you think you know; GOD is GOD and He means What He Says Every Single Time He Says It.
Though we are not to be afraid of God, we best grab a good hold on seeking to understand how to have a healthy fear of The Master of this universe for He is Holy and Demands Reverence.
    Pronto!
As the old hymn that use to be sung so often says, “It’s getting late in the evening and the sun going down.”
    Jude
24Now unto Him That is Able to Keep you from falling, and to Present you faultless before the Presence of His Glory with exceeding joy, 25To The Only Wise God our Saviour, be Glory and Majesty, Dominion and Power, both now and ever. Amen.

It is quite easy to busy ourselves with passing judgement upon someone whom we’ve sized up in our own mind. We’ve looked closely and carefully; then we judge by what we see in the situation. Now we need only look back briefly to get a good grip on how “off” our judgement can be. Think for a moment about the time when you were pretty much 100% sure about something. Yeah, THAT.
You were wrong about that weren’t you. You thought that you had sized up the situation based on the evidence that you had gathered between your two ears; and yet, time proved your judgment wrong.
In Matthew 7:1-5, Jesus Himself tells us to judge not. For the same judgement that we use to judge someone else; we will be judged. Now that kinda makes you want to rethink some things if you think about it seriously. Making rash calls based on what you have concluded might be wrong; even if you’ve seen what appears to be some good evidence.
This does not mean that we call wrong right, because that would be wrong. It does mean however that we at times need to examine further some things with our mouth shut and our soul open to what The Holy Ghost is Saying.🙏🏽

    Job 1:6
Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
The devil only wants that which God Wants.
He has been that way from the start.
    He said in Isaiah 14:14
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.
Even in The Garden of Eden in Genesis, he shows up and targets the instructions that God gave Adam at the beginning of Creation.
If God Says to honor something, the devil seeks to cause us to dishonor it. If God Says to not do a thing, the devil seeks to cause us to want to do that very thing. If God Says you need to walk away from that, the devil seeks to make you want to stay. If God Says Wait, the devil says go. The battle is constant because he ALWAYS goes counter to Almighty God because that is his devilish nature.
Our struggles are generally an indicator that God has targeted something that the devil is seeking to counter because he despises The Ways of God and seeks to derail us in order to challenge God; uselessly, but he still tries.
Counter means to oppose. In other words, the devil is always fighting against what God Says in our life. He seeks to counterfeit everything that God originates. This covers everything from relationships to values.
Counterfeit is something that is made in exact imitation of something valuable or important with the intention to deceive.
We must know that there are matters that are most certainly important to God, and we can most certainly expect the devil to present himself right there in the midst.
BUT GOD Knows just what to do; even if we don’t.
    Call Jesus.🙏🏽
