Union gospel mission thank you. Thank you Chaplin Kim and Troy also David Marrow and Sammy although there not at the UGM anymore they continue to do incredible things for God. My time at the mission was a completely miracle. Being at the mission gave me hope and faith. I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer while living in Minnesota but being at UGM help save my life. Everyday seeing the many faces that come through to eat, wash up, sleep on the cots and take time to worship. So many faces and stories give me hope in God that no matter what I was gonna be all right. I LOVE EVERY MOMENT AT THE MISSION AND CANNOT WAIT TO COME HOME FOR A VISIT VERY SOON. ITLL BE THE FIRST PLACE I COME AND SEE ALSO GET ON MY KNEES AND GIVE THANKS TO THE BUILDING AND PEOPLE THAT GIVE SERVICE EVERYDAY LIKE JAMES AT THE FRONT DESK.
THEN MORE HOMELESS WOULD TAKE THEIR PLACE! So then you'd shelter the new homeless, and even MORE homeless would take THEIR place, then you'll have ghettoes of idle, sheltered, people who get addicted to drugs and commit violent crime.
Iv have experience all this we finallyoved to the city shelters it's 8 years later my wife is terminal ill God; n heaven need our 61 year of homlessnes in the rual mountain of the applachiaountans. We have a home now she gets a check so many are homeless because of dope but their are some just hit bad hand in life it's no fun look at the city's tent city's tents on sidewalks. Sad
Bleeding heart do-gooders need to stop feeling sorry for the homeless, they CHOOSE to do this to themselves, close down the soup kitchens and shelters and you'll see how quickly these people start taking care of themselves, Americans are lazy and unmotivated
Someone help him many homeless don't want to be out in arctic air of winter while some would prefer it to being in shelters the elements of deep winter far more dangerous to live sleep in
He needs to help himself, stop with the handouts, close down the soup kitchens and shelters and you'll see how quickly these people start taking care of themselves

I've been homeless in Texas for nearly 4 years now. We had the most horrible winter this year and the cold is so painful.

Truth be told winter isn't bad it's summer and rain that sucks
I end up crying cus since yesterday i prayed saying i dont feel home in my home anymore and feeling uncomfortable is btter then being homeless
As an Ambasaador when I got back from Russia and stopped a Nuclear War tge FBI made me homeless .. it sucked living in an s-10 pick up
