miercorde and parrying is definitely best the way to get through phase 1, though i struggled w phase 2 because the amount of aoes were blocking my view of him lol
Yeah. The camera angle doesn't help either. I wish Fromsoft fixes that issue later in the future.

Take a break. Next time when you feel like it's time. Play the dlc again. I have a lot more things to do in the dlc before I take a break myself

Nice, I definitely gotta try parrying him (I'm not good at it tho, so probably won't work, lol).
Just a bit of practice is all you need, also Carian Retaliation has the longest active frames for a parry so it'll be much easier compared to a normal parry.
@@Mistarpotato Tried using Buckler Parry the first time around. Too risky. Golden Parry is just a big no. I settled with Carian Retalliation and slapped it on a medium shield with good negation stats.

It's too slow for Radahn. Every time I tried to parried him with Golden Parry it falls short. I have nothing against the Golden Parry AOW but its bad for Radahn

Does the shield with that ash of war have as much of a parry window as the Buckler Parry?
A medium shield with the Carian Retaliation AOW has a lot more active frames than the Buckler Parry. Even though the Buckler Parry has a shorter start up than Carian Retaliation, the latter is much more reliable when it comes to safe guarding you after a failed parry than the former.
@@MeatBallll_ Is Carian Retaliation the safest Parry Ash of War? I just assumed "Golden Parry" was the best one, but I never tested otherwise.
@sucrilhus In terms of safety, Golden Parry is good for parrying at a distance. But each parry costs FP unlike Carian Retaliation which uses no FP for parrying unless you parry sorceries or incantation. Besides, Carian Retaliation has slightly more active frames than Golden Parry. So you're better off with Carian Retaliation on a medium shield
