Thanks for the valuable knowledge, but it was a little difficult to hear the audio right. Keep it up
Hey Gary,
Can you please make separate video on making Spore print of different mushrooms🙏🙏
thank you for your very informative videos! I have a question about cleaning contaminated liquid samples. I have a water solution sample from dryed mushroom tissue/spores that developed mycelium. I did let it grow on pda and water agar but contamination grew on both methods. now I've read about the Cabin-Sequestering method. do you have any experience in that? would be really interested to see you explain it. next i will try serial dilution! your videos on that where really helpful!
Thanks for watching! Try using antibiotic agar or black charcoal to inhibit the contaminants, always take from the leading edge which will be the cleanest portion of the mycelium.
@@FreshfromtheFarmFungi thank you for the reply. today I did actually inoculate a couple charcoal plates for the first time. I really hope I can save that strain. looking forward for more videos. have a nice day!
Buonasera, perchè non appaiono i sottotitoli?
What's happened with your NZ mushroom?
It’s in a bulk block now and I am isolating more phenotypes to grow out - they are shown in the video (Agrocybe parasitica)
