It's such a good game. My runs were quite... well I died but the way the game plays, the tension, helplessness, the wave system or just the sneaking around the zombies is so incredible. The servers sadly were quite unstable and it's in a rough position BUT if this gets fixed it will be one of the best zombie games of all time

The previous game made them show how they died when becoming a zombie, or had that just terrifying look to them and literally looked like they were decaying, hell, they even had children zombies to really show how horrible this zombie apocalypse was. Seems the bad reviews are from server errors and people telling the devs to f*ck off. I’m being positive and hoping for the best! -- At first it felt smooth and about ~20 minutes in the servers started degrading making it quite hard to play. Hopefully we see some updates and a push for a smoother experience, more maps and solid zombie killin experience.

How do you even die?) -> No infection or bleeding (I think). -> No child zombies (but we do get "screamer" enemies that don't make any sense at all) -> A sheer overabundance of ammo in the map, plus the fact that you can carry an entire armory with you. -> Visible health/stamina bars. -> Insanely effective healing items (the medkit healed THIRTY HEALTH in the first game) -> A fucking revive system and SELF-REVIVES? Sure, there's server issues, but this is just a PAYDAY 3 situation all over again where the devs just wildly changed shit that wasn't broken.

I may be looking at the game through rose tinted glasses, but I dont care. Dont get me wrong, this game has ALOT of issues, server problems, lag, graphical bugs, you name it. However, that being said, I have hope for the game. Its foundation is solid and if the devs stick with and fix the games and add new content, it could very much be a situation similar to Cyberpunk or Helldivers 2.
I was so disgustingly excited for this game for the last 8 years. Ever since its first announcement, but after looking at it at its release I’m so excruciatingly disappointed. Torn Banner scrapped almost everything the OG dev team was working on that resembled the first game and its vibe. No infection, no genuine maps, no true objectives based on maps, no kid zombies, and the list goes on. The original team had a build that looked better than what we have now gameplay wise. Graphically this looks cool I guess, but that’s literally it. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined
I hope the team realizes what people actually want and use some of the mechanics from this version to recreate the version they had before with all that you listed, although I doubt that’ll actually happen.

if NMRiH wants a grow up, its roadmap must be different or it is under another name. but people want a NMRiH like what they had enjoyed in 10 years. IDK but watching NMRiH2 just made me want to remix NMRiH 1 with RTX or graphical mod.
My experience of the game: Audio desync Flying zombies, getting bite by headless zombies, getting hit by armless zombies, getting chased by a floating head, zombie spawning right behind me, red eyes are way too tanky(seriously why is this turning into Resident Evil now?) Swapping stopped working out of no reasons, throwables can't be thrown without dropping and reequipping, changing resolution somehow gave me a BSOD, dies from infection despite infection system isn't in the game, stuck in opening cutscene Game is giving me a huge Back 4 Blood vibe, that ain't good.
I get why it's getting hate but personally I think it's fun. Maybe it's because I had no problems that people are having. My only criticism is that zombies sometimes respond immediately right on the spot. Hit boxes are a little weird but I mean cmon hit boxes were horrid in part 1 too. It's also migrating to torn banner so I'm expecting it to be a little rough. But the core gameplay mechanic and loop is there and if you can look past the bugs that I'm sure would be fixed in time. It's not that bad of a game. Then there's the usual defense, it's early access. If the bugs are too much then just wait. It is torn banners first time handling something like this. So I'm giving them a chance to make something. In the mean time. I'm bashing zom heads

At 4:05, I swear that's the voice actor of the main character in the deus ex games. The game looks fun, im reluctant to buy it though, so many people have been trashing it. Hopefully the devs can fix some of the major bugs soon. Reminds me a bit of Contagion from back in the day.

You should save your ammunition for the end of the mission some players say their will be like a extraction that you need to hold position in which you will need all of the ammunition you can get also guns make noise and Noise attract zombies
If you play solo you will prolly hate this game but if you have friends who are competent the game can be good but the bugs and frame drop can be a little bit annoying
