    I enjoy all of your videos Carlos , I'm loving the Sea of Cortez stuff in particular . I dived with a whale shark many years ago off the coast of North Queensland , we were out tuna fishing and had literally a mile of water beneath the keel . While drifting , the shark would come up to the boat and circle around then dive into the deep out of sight , then come up again and repeat , for over an hour . I actually held the tail multiple times for a slow ride , gently left and right , the shark seemed to not mind at all .
    Thanks for what you do 🙂

    I have never seen footage of a ray jumping out of the water before. It's only from above that shows how extraordinary the length of the jump was too. And to see it flap the tips while airborne...I'm just in awe. The whole thing was spectacular but that was the bit that got me the most. Fabulous.

    I'm just starting to watch, but what an incredibly beautiful place. I'm in Virginia on the Atlantic ocean. And I plan on making my way out there in the near year or 2. I love your videos as always. Thanks again for all you do for us. And for the ocean and the people you are in contact with. I've been offshore fishing for 40 years and I've seen some incredible things out there that I can never show like you can now with the drones and cameras.

    Spectacular! I love your channel because you are so conscientious about respecting wildlife. I don't have to worry about seeing people harassing animals just to get a post for social media. The sea lions with the fish were really neat - I guess it is safer for the prey to stay as close as possible to the predator in that situation! Thank you for sharing this adventure with us - it has been a long time since I was down there - you used to have to drive!

    Your professional, honest, true encounter with nature is a class of documentary all of it's own! You don't need peer reviews or accredited publishings. Build your Brand! Your work speaks for itself. I'm a huge fan. Mixing with mainstream will ultimately end with using your footage to push political agendas. You can make your films and feature them at little theaters & showings! One of a kind as always! Love the behind the scenes pov. 💖

I'm so concerned that great whites might be at serious risk from the finning industry, as they are only allowing commercial boats. Do you have any more news?

    I have a sperm will dorsal fan from 1979. That was from a handthrown harpoon in that Tonga islands. This was given to me as a young man from a famousailor around the world who is still a part of my family. It's about 3 feet long and the smallest bone in the whale's body. Of course, these days I would never accept anything like that. But this is a part of history and it is very interesting. I've had it for over 40 years. I think what you do in the video you capture is absolutely the best of the best, and I share all of your videos? If we don't protect our oceans, we are gonna be going right with them.

    • @DARWINZOO
      @DARWINZOO Год назад

      @TheMalibuArtist extremely different from Cape Cod
      We have very few seals.
      At least where I am on South Beach
      One of the really interesting things about where I am they cut a channel from the 800 acre "pond" [Fishing people call up down .. currents]
      The tide changes [wow new info!] We get cold running into pond then warm out
      Nothing like when blue fish churn the water. Following prey..then..things Following blue fish.
      I know we had a shark in the deep channel once. And sometimes huge ones bask on an outer sand bank seeming shallow but then..
      I've only experienced sand sharks. Which are better than stepping on a Portuguese Man O war

    Whoever said “Oh no! more dolphins!?” Is an ungrateful jerk! Damn! I wish I could go see 🐬 dolphins! Let alone ANY beautiful sea life while out on a yacht! Must be nice! Ppl who are super privileged always have to make piss ant remarks. I truly hope she knows how very special those dolphins, along with the gray whales, great white sharks, sea lions, the insanely awesome whale shark(s) are and how rare it can be to see them while out on a boat tour that probably and more than likely aggravates the sea life due to tourism and MONEY! Do people ever leave sea life alone?! I hate to see all of these beauties get so comfortable with humans when the human is it’s worst enemy in trapping, fishing & killing for profit or just because.
