What’s amazing about this video now, is seeing the growth of both Beyonce and Usher from then to now. They were both literally killing it in the R&B/Pop charts at that time, and their careers were just starting to really take off. They were both shifting from being teen singers and transitioning into young adulthood with a more mature sound. I’m glad I was able to experience it in real time. I’m proud of them both! 🔥

I remember when I was 24, and I was at this club and this song came on, I was looking for someone to dance with me and I turned this guy around and he just started moving with me. Obviously he seen the video, lol.... I was Beyonce and he was Usher. We were so in synch with each other, even when we did our own dance to the song, we danced all night. He had such great rhythm. I never knew his name. Man I wish I could find someone who could dance like that with me again. I've never in my life had that happen with a pop song like this.
