What about issues with it going into limp mode?
My understanding is people are changing modes while driving and it plainly states in the owners manual NOT to change modes while driving this is what is causing codes and go into limp mode

Me too I just realized you just take your foot off the pedal and you’ll be fine. Just don’t be dumb with it. I’ve Had no issues with mine and it’s insanely fun

No, Cruise control is controlled by the ECU, Because the Pedal Commander comes int before the ECU and doesn't Modify it at all cruise control is not effected by the Pedal Commander

What happens if you use a ford pedal commander on a Jeep or Dodge?
Will pedal commander affect my aftermarket tune? I have a cam intake and headers on my truck and have been considering pedal commander for a while but just don't want to mess my tune up
The Pedal Commander stacks with most tunes. If you would like confirmation for your specific tune email customerservice@pedalcommander.com with the name of the tune and they will check for you
How does the +4/-4 work?
I just bought one for my new 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan. One of your previous pedal commander videos the guy said in eco mode the -4 actually makes your vehicle throttle more responsive. I thought the plus 1,+2,+3,+4 makes your rig more responsive
Yes - I saw that too
What he meant is that when you put the commander in eco mode it removes response from the rate of throttle opening speed.
So the - 1,2,3,4 is as though you’re removing the effect of that setting hence less gain of the eco setting would actually speed up the opening rate of the throttle.
+1,2,3,4 would be adding gain to the eco setting - making it work increasingly intense at slowing the response of the throttle opening rate.

Great question! That is actually used in the programming process from our end, there isn't any use outside of that though.
My car has sports mode already so if i turn on my sports mode..and if i have set the pedal commander on sports plus 4 would it have a side effect on the engine

That is correct! Do not change modes while using cruise control or accelerating (with foot on the gas at all).
What does the USB port on the side do as far as function?
The USB port is a service port. This is how we test and program the Units

Great question, Pedal Commander is completely CARB legal and will not interfere with smog certification!
What can happen if you change modes while pressing the gas pedal?
CHanging modes while your foot is on the gas can cause a check engine light and limp mode
Will my new Pedal Commander be ok in freezing temps here in Vermont for long durations, or should I just use it in the warmer weather periods like Spring, Summer, Fall? I don't want to ruin it...
The Cold weather should not effect your Pedal Commander. We have a lot of customer in cold climates such as Alaska, and Canada.
Can I use the bluetooth function with my car's infotainment system bluetooth at the same time?
Good Question! When first connecting the Pedal Commander to the App you want to have nothing else connected via Bluetooth to your phone so it can search and find the Pedal Commander. Once it has been paired the first time you can then be connected to both with no issues!
Will this work with my Magnuson supercharger?

No, you don't need any calibration. Our units are Plug & Play.

I don’t know what each mode does, nor do I understand the 10 different settings. Plus and negative what?
Eco - Slows Throttle Response for fuel-saving and improved traction control
City - Slightly increases throttle response from stock for more active response.
Sport - Sharper throttle curve than City.
Sport+ Even steeper throttle curve than sport. (recommended for track use)
+ and - are for fine-tuning adjustments between each mode

In eco and city it seems to run Ok but in sport 1 and 2 the vehicle idles at 4000 RPM can I reset this ?

Will this work on a car with a throttle cable I can't find the answer anywhere. They make one for 08 hyundai elentra but I read it's for fly by wire electronic throttles and mine is not electronic it has acable so if anyone knows Will it work like advertised on traditional throttle cable cars.
The Pedal Commander will not work with a Mechanical Thrrotle cable.
Just got my PC Answer asap please, when i turn off my car and my pc remain on, does it drain my battery or do i have to physically turn it off everytime ?
No the Pedal Commander may remain on for a few minutes after the ignition is shut off. This is because the ECU still has power and is going through its shutdown procedure. the Pedal Commander will shut off with the ECU.

It Depends on which vehicle you are getting. You can check on pedalcommander.com by inputting your new vehicle's year make and model. If it's the same PC# then you can.
I saw pc07 for alfa romeo?n saw it for.5th gen ram 1500?
Alfa Romeo is owned by Stellantis (formerly FCA). Stellantis owns various vehicle brands including Dodge. Brands under the same parent company will often share parts and tech. So this means that 5th Gen Ram 1500 and some Alfa Romeos will have the same gas pedal assembly/programming. The PC07 will fit various vehicles under Stellantis ownership.

No it ONLY takes the lag out of the pedal response
You would need a Tune to do a governor delete
What is the 1+, 2+, 3+ and 4+ for?
The +1 - +4 are the sensitivity adjustments that can be made in each mode. for example, City +1 will be less responsive than City +4 and so on for all the other modes.

Can the PC be hacked via Bluetooth?
No, in order to connect to a Pedal Commander you need the serial number of the individual unit.

Get a obd2 reader or stop at any Autozone store they will check the code/s for free
