NaturalDane I never thought I’d ever want a serger let alone a “fancy” one. I bought an old used one last year to try out using a serger and quickly found that air threading would be divine indeed 🤣🤣. I’m not entirely sure about a coverstitch at this point, I’ll have to see. Thanks for watching 😍
I have an old second hand imagine that works perfectly. Unfortunately the bulb has gone & I cannot get it out. I can't tell if it is a screw or bayonet, but it will not budge. The place is so tight to get hands in & I am not even sure if the tool recommended would remove it. Probably it has been there for years & I am frightened that even with the tool it might break. This I think is the only design fault as I love the machine.
Hi. Someone is selling it in my area for $400 and it comes with bonus feet package Do you think it’s a good deal? I know they don’t make them anymore and I’m afraid that it’s too old to purchase
iwonabr I’d try to find out when it was manufactured. In all honesty, it is a workhorse so as long as it isn’t 20 years old and is in good working condition.... I’d buy it. But, you could try asking them if you could take it to a dealer to have it looked at and ask their professional opinion.
Stitches & Seams how do I find out the year? This was her mother’s machine and she doesn’t know anything about it. Neither do I it will be my first serger. Thank you for replying so fast.
Very nice machine, love the idea of an air threader. I want a coverstitch machine as well, but that's on a long "wish list" 😁😁. Great review.

I have the Imagine and I also LOVE it! Will never go back to traditional "non jet air" threading! Lol
Oh and I also have the Janome Cover Pro 2000cpx and if you do a lot of knits like I do, it's priceless. It has changed my life!
I love mine just got it! Makes life so much easier!❤️
Thanks for this video. I always wanted to know a little more about this machine.
Francine Flaks You’re quite welcome, I hope it helped.
I just got the Enlighten. I can't wait to use it!😍
Shirette Johnson Woo!!! That’s a nice machine too, enjoy!
I to have the enlighten can’t rave enough 👍
I love my imagine too! As for the coverstitch machine, I got the Janome coverpro 1000cpx on Amazon for around $600. Love it! Happy sewing!
Iris Moreno I’ve seen the coverstitch, maybe one day. Thanks for watching 😘
Thanks for a great and informative video. Do you have any good tricks for changing threads?

iwonabr Ask her for the serial number, that may help you.
Stitches & Seams Thank you..😘
Last question. Do you still have yours?
iwonabr I do indeed. She sees beautifully. I take her in yearly for maintenance and I’ve never had an issue.
