    It sucks that you have to explain and justify getting a car you love just because it is an automatic. It says something about the toxicity of the car/youtube community. Your car is an expression of you and your own creativity, and what you do with it is your choice. I love this car and look forward to seeing what you do with this build!

      Although I typically don't enjoy driving automatic, I also understand why others do. It's not the whole community that is toxic; it's just the closed minded idiots who think it's all about power, brands, and trans type...

    At the end of the day you gotta do what makes you happy. We like cars but we also watch because we like you. That’s what’s entertaining. I started watching a long while ago because you did the majority of what you could , you never attempt to look like a “ professional” and you enjoy everything you do or at least try to. • @mikenutsinyourmouth5381
      @mikenutsinyourmouth5381 3 года назад +1

      The jzx I brought was just a running body, no interior what so ever. Brought it because everything’s there for the engine swap, the body is mint condition and in the famous white, selling the body off to make cash back. The 5mge sitting in my Cressida atm is quite old and needing a birthday but parts are almost impossible to find, I bought a 1uz soarer with the idea of swapping that into the Cressida but enjoyed the ride home too much that I decided I’m keeping her and find either a 7mgte or jz for the repower

    • @mikenutsinyourmouth5381

      @02lucy666 3 года назад

      @@mikenutsinyourmouth5381 I mean, it would be sick to see a built NA 1j vvti, which I was going for, however, plans did change, and right now, i am probably on the process of selling my jzx, in order to be able to move over to the US, getting sick of this place here.
      However its probably gonna be a total shitshow to find another jzx later down the line, but in the long run, Its probably gonna benefit me, and the old girl is just sitting around for the past 2 years now, which sucks...
      Just out of curiosity: is the shell a chaser? or an actual cresta?
      Engines are reliable af, in stock form, they will run probably 600k miles with no issues on simple maintenance (oil, plugs, and front main seals (common flaw on any JZ engine)

    Hey it's awesome to see another Soarer make it to these shores, and I really like the VIP planned build, definitely a worthy car. In July I had my 1993 Soarer arrive in Savannah, Georgia and I've been loving it since. It's an auto as well, but the auto ones seem to always be in a much better condition than the hard driven manuals. I'm glad it didn't have leather on the jzz30, cause these seats are just freaking comfy to me!

    Former soarer owner here do yourself a favor dont pull on the door trims to hard when shutting the doors if they arent cracked allready, common problem with them when the hinges start to sag people yank on the door trims and they end up cracking
    There was allso a single Turbo 1Jz in late 1996 when they went over to the VVTI stage, the 1UZ allso got a VVTI make over in late 96

    Yeah alright I'll subscribe now..... Congrats on the Soarer, my unbiased opinion says they are great cars haha.
    They have a few minor common faults but will never let you down. Definitely nothing wrong with an automatic and with the optional LSD they still drift really well. As for painting/dying the interior I have done it before and it looked like the factory black interior, the dashboard is not hard to remove at all when done correctly. FYI those aren't fog lights on the 91-93 model they are curb/corner lights. The Soarer is definitely a totally different car to the SC300/400 models especially when you look at the UZZ31 and UZZ32 models, Very interested to see what you get up to with your JZZ30 this choice in car definitely has got me watching.

Out of curiosity, do the side markers light up when you turn the running lights on, and are they DOT stamped? I wouldn't mind getting one, but in order to register it in HI, the side markers need to light up, and it needs DOT headlights, not hard to switch headlights, kind of a pain to wire side markers.

    AC type kit is dope. ShineAuto makes a great fitting kit. Welcome to the JZZ family. Let me know if you have any questions. I have a drift SC.

    Is the soarer going to be bagged or static? Cuz it would look sick sitting on bags istead of coils!
    Love that you are going VIP with this one!

    i think that automatic is substantially better suited for a VIP build than manual. if i were to ever to build a VIP car id pick automatic as well.
