This is ridiculously good. The beatboxing truly does much (cred to you!), and the rest of you is nothing but amazing. It's so fun both listening to and watching so talented singers being so dedicated to the music. you're real musicians. Never ever stop singing, none of you.
My vocal teacher Mr. Chase is an FSU grad so he's always posting these on our fb page and you guys are awesome! Holy cow that was so incredible. P.s lead singer, blonde guy in the back jammin and in one to the right are super cute! ♥
Just wondering, is this a mash-up with Cinematic Orchestra's 'How to Build a Home'? That first part definitely sounds like it. Wonderful rendition though - you guys are just phenomenal. It's one of the only videos I can watch tirelessly on repeat.
Wondeful rendition. I don't remember anything like this, when I attended F.S.U. Having heard several a capella groups, I thrilled to be able to hear this on you tube. So Thank you for sharing your gifted voices with us. BTW, Where was this shot (a church?) or? Thanks,
Thank you for watching and sharing your wonderful comment! This was actually shot in Dodd Hall on the FSU campus. It was a beautiful location for the video, and the acoustics were fantastic! Please check out more videos on the Vocal Company Channel; some are from Reverb and more from other FSU a cappella groups. And please share this video with your friends!
I mean... How many key changes are legal in one measure? AMAZING! We just survived terrifying Hurricane Irma winds that downed two trees in the yard. The house was shaking. This song was in my head throughout the night and kept me sane.
your vibrato matching in the beginning is really fantastic- also curious, was the perc recorded later because it would be extremely impressive if he could get his snare that tight and loud on a live performance! great work!
Thanks for your comment! This is the music director of the group, we are glad you enjoyed the video :) To answer your question, this was all recorded live, including the percussion! In order to get a balanced recording between solo, rhythm section, and ensemble, we had mic attached to iPhones placed off screen next to David (the VP) and Alex (the solo) that picked them up more directly. Otherwise, no sounds were altered or enhanced in any way! Thanks again for viewing and commenting. Check out more from Reverb or other FSU a cappella groups on the Vocal Company's channel!
Chills, then more chills.

I thought it would have been better with some bass harmony throughout the song. Other than that, it was very well done.
The main singer is my theatre teacher lol
clutch box
It would be cooller if they had at least 2 guys singing the lyrics
Gabriel Gama I agree
