How hard is it to keep all those strings tuned? If strings break or need to be replaced what would you buy? Bass strings? Guitar strings?
Hello! The harpejji uses a clamping method for strings rather than a wound system like most guitars. This system allows for the strings to stay in tune much better than a regular guitar. All harpejjis use regular electric guitar or bass strings. You can buy your own individual strings or, buy them through us via our website. www.marcodi.com

Greetings, Marcodi! I’ve been following your instrument for a while and I would love to get my hands on one! I’m wondering if you have considered making a smaller board with slightly cheaper materials that would place the instrument in a more accessible price range?
The wood and size probably have little to do with the price, per se. It’s probably more the workmanship and electronics that make it so expensive. If the instrument gets a following and they move to an overseas production plant, it might get cheaper, but until then it stays in the custom shop guitar price range, which isn’t even that expensive all things considered… Just a lot of money 😅
