GREAT VIDEO THANK YOU. today i went to download the lastest firmware, but its 240624 looks like its from june not july ?? is the 240624 newer ?? that the lastest one they have on there site
I checked, look like the july has been removed. I check the site periodically. I have the july firmware installed on all my H3, so far, no issues, all good, swr, power & sensitivity.
I now have two of these. Somehow I mistakenly ordered the GMRS version, which arrived today. The antenna is different. It is shorter and only for 440. Works lousy on 2m, of course.
Look at the base of the antenna, at the SMA. This new UHF-only antenna has a yellow label that states it is for 400 MHz.
The only other difference found so far is the printed manual. This GMRS radio arrived with a GMRS manual. Several differences, but nothing interesting.
Radio itself was reset and firmware updated (indeed, the July version is gone-that is the reason I am searching the internet instead of using the new HT). It works exactly like my other H3.
I took another look and yes, the july is still missing. No yellow marking on my antenna.
inside the antenna sma, it a bit red and has the printing fm 136-174/400-470
No july showing as of this date. I do have a copy of July firmware, just in case I needed to update another radio.
That July firmware dissapeared. When I download the latest it gives me June 25th firmware.
I have the H3_240702 version, if it disappeared perhaps they are updating with new version. I check the site. Yup, the july is not there. I wait a week or less and check again.

sorry for delay, for some reason, reviews were held, even though i left it open for immediate view.
The Screen Brightness setting was on the 240530 FW upgrade i did, and did it with the supplied USB-C cable
