I was just watching @TheNotaRubicon review of the TD-H3 and he opened odmaster, connected the radio and the app opened up without a login and he said they no longer require you sign up. Waiting for my H3 to arrive to try it out myself. Thanks for the vid! Very helpful, except I’m GMRS
Thanks for watching and glad you found it useful. Yes I saw his video, not really sure why I needed to sign in but I did anyway. Enjoy your radio 👍
Maybe he is on GMRS so does not need to sign in ?.
Thanks mate 👍
Cheers 👍
Can the TD-H3 upgrades be uploaded thru the BT App also?
Of course you couldn't find it in the channel information, AM_BAND, "BAND" being the key word there. That setting turns on the AM **BAND** i.e. any frequency in that range is automatically set to receive AM, you don't program it in the channel itself.
Can i program this to listen to police and ems frequency??
Can I update my firmware with the Odmaster app to the TD-H3?
How do you know the numbers to put in
If you mean frequencies, then that depends on what you want to listen to. Do a Google search for frequencies in your area, ie: local airports etc or depending on where you are in the world GMRS, FRS or PMR frequencies etc..
Well... you meant well, though this tutorial made no sense. Thanks anyway.
ODMaster is horrible. Look at how it manages your channels, a huge page of icons? Stupid, not useful for any purpose. Accidentally go back? All your data is gone. Want to view all your frequencies? Nope, you have to view by memory #, good luck finding things, you'll have to tap on each memory slot (1-200) one by one to find out if you've already added a frequency. Want to manage the names of your memory channels? nope. Also why are memory names limited to 7 chars and no spaces? Dumb. The only benefit is using bluetooth, which I wish you could do with PC. Use Chirp instead.
