This is definitely the Switch. And actually in fact the video resolution was degraded here as I had to upscale the MP4 for a better video codec here, then had to remove copyrighted audio from the project which required me to render the same upscaled content a second time which lost a little bit of color depth and crushed some of the blacks in the image.
