Billie Holiday said that she did in fact write “God Bless the Child” for her mother, “the duchess.” We know that writers, singers, etc., sometimes have help writing songs because it is done all of the time. This may be the case unless you were there when it was written you really can’t disprove her.

hmmm she is not so much better than Diana Ross -- she's just -- different a heavy voice like a man -- he criticized Ross numerous times .. which I thought was very tacky for another artist to do.
