Your advice is really precious. Before salsa & bachata, I knew only how to dance with disco music in free style (enough well, I would say) but I had a lot of difficulty when I started Latin dance because the rhythm is completely different and there are many fixed steps and movements to respect, besides the "obligation" (!) of synchronizing with a partner was a big burden for me becoming very nervous and feeling my body extremely tensed so I couldn't adapt myself so easily, however, after a lot of daily practice at home during this covid period, little by little, my body started to learn Latin dance rhythm and my experience of dancing with disco music also is helping me, especially in " solo" movements. My level is still very low but I am really enjoying watching your channel full of different categories' lessons and above all, every advice you are giving us at the end of each session is a treasure.
