Car reviewers: this car feels gutless. you have to rev it out to get something out of it. Car manufacturer: ***puts a turbocharged engine in the car. Car reviewers: it doesn't make sense for it to be this fast. It has no right to be. Get the other option.
The Grand Highlander (Grand Kluger 🤔) is the one we need here. So much better looking inside and out. Roomier and higher quality interior. The max hybrid model, even better. This model kluger while improved, is still a let down inside and out. Still a Toyota fan, but current asking prices, and what is on offer making it more difficult. We miss out on their best models, but still get smashed with the 'Australia tax'. Current prices are making Toyota's harder to justify, especially with the current lineup overpriced.
I reckon Mazda got the right idea with pairing V6 engine hybrid for the size ( CX-90) maybe for us here in Oz , they might chuck hybrid V6 in the next generation Prado or maybe if we get the Grand Highlander / Sequoia
@johnnysmith7410 Ur not wrong. I have a Kluger hybrid, and when my whole family and my grandparents are all in the car, it struggles a lot and is quite sluggish especially on higher freeway speeds when overtaking.
Why wouldn't you get the hybrid that's great what if you can't wait 2 years as that's what dealers are quoting on wait time or you can deal with scalpers
Great review boys, it’s a improvement from the last one! Never been a fan of the Kluger but it’s come along way! Oh btw I can’t wait for the next review which I know it is lol
I got the silky smooth v6 2017 model........ I'll definately want to upgrade to the v4 turbo. Save on rego cost.... and turbo power, the v6 lacks the down low torque and the turbo four fixes that.
Just got mine 💯 recommend over the rave4 but only in “”hybrid”” after 5K efficiency is still impressive with 6L/100km which is very good, the GXL is the sweet spot as value for money, I get so many compliments when people enter the car, Vehicle is quick to respond, Fast, Comfortable, Spacious.
It is quite efficient and spacious I agree but it's not fast at all. With one two or three passengers it's average but when 7 people are in, it's really sluggish and struggles especially on highway speeds.
The new 2023 Palisade Elite 2.2d with the black grill would be my chioce in this segment. 440Nm is awesome, from low down in the rpm range also. Standard TC gearbox is excellent.

Fully agree yet with the current wait times on most Toyota models I don't see the big T changing their strategy anytime soon 😅
I had a test drive Kluger hybrid, it was not good as V6, engine was struggling when it speeds up.

Awesomesauce review. I bet even if you reviewed a mobility scooter I’d be highly entertained 😊

I have the 6 cylinder and we average 9ltrs per 100...great car
thats too much fuel cost
@@user-vx6vb3jx1j yeah but i get a real engine that’s sound great!
Thanks for the review. May I ask how tall you are? I just would like to see the tallest person that the third row could fit
Great review.... more interpretative dancing in future reviews please! 😁🤪
Klugler is a no nonsense 7 seater crossover. Transportation that just works.
Not that much of a big decision leap across to The Patrol at that price and economy - let alone the X factor!
The question is "Why wouldn't you get the Hybrid?" Exploding batteries perhaps?
I have highest grade kluger. Engine is just not powerfull enough. Entertainmwnt screen is too old and not even HD...
Not impressed at all
Love your reviews ❤
Real world you would buy a diesel Palisade for a better driving experience and way better economy

A 4 cylinder diesel pulling such a heavy car would inevitably go downhill in a couple of yrs (sounds, smoothness)
It look’s definitely like a boat 😂😂😂
Baby boomer blue.I’m triggered 😂
I read this comment as he said it 😂😂😂
75 grand hahaha wtf
Kluger should be replaced by Hycrosa which available in India and South east Asian markets
Boring car. Sorry.
For that money, Q7 baby!!!
Q7 is 120k right? kluger gxl thats reviewed is 66k, AWD is 71k. may be used Q7?
No, you got your numbers wrong. This in Australia, you'll need around AU$130k for a new Q7.
Pls don't make videos again.
