I had a 2009. The left hand frame had a big rush hole that needed to be welded. They had to drop the fuel tank. A guy that I work with had to have both sides welded. Upstate NY. I have not seen any one putting up a video replacing bed side and wheel housing.
John I did purchase a hole punch from Amazon that will do those panels with lips and edges, and looks good and I do look forward to getting the shirt and again thanks ! That more than I would do in a week maybe I'm just getting to old ?

Sounds pretty comparable, it’s typically in the $4000 Canadian range for rockers and cab corners when I do them

I’ve definitely noticed the 06 up frames rust much, much worse than the the prior “classic style “ trucks
Imagine if chev took this much care when building the truck, painting the inner parts etc. maybe all this work wouldn't have to be done after 10 years
I truly believe they’re all engineered to rust in about 10 years, otherwise no one would buy new trucks….
