- A lot of other Americans who watch football constantly ask the same question about the sport in Europe. Why are there no salary caps to make things more even? It sounds like an easy solution but it really isn’t that easy
The big European clubs would laugh in UEFA’s face if they suggested a salary cap 😭
Literally 💀💀 there’s been talk about attempts to implement one and I honestly just roll my eyes whenever I hear it, it would never happen and if it did, it would just be flimsy as hell wit a bunch of loopholes so the big clubs would still be able to do whatever they want
A draft in soccer wouldn’t make sense every big club academy would be useless if there best academy players would have to leave them for free
Ironically, a salary cap can be implemented if and only if something like the super league was invented
the cap will be only be for the super league, which means teams outside of it will outspend the teams in it.
And in this way the super league will die, thats hwy even whit a super league the cap will not be implemented.
Correct because salary cap can only work in a closed system.

A salary cap is probably the most logical solution but it will be probably be explotied just as much as ffp and teams will probably find a way to spend over the limit which would make it just as useful as ffp,a draft system would also be a pretty bad idea but with some changes could be a way for young talent to be drafted by a team that would give them a path to the first team,also clubs could choose to protect a certain players from the draft and offload players that they see dont have a future at the club and place them in a draft,this would probably never happen and for good reason but it could make youth devolopment more intresting and could give young players a chance to break out but anyways loved the video and keep up the work👍.
I like the idea of teams selecting certain players dat are off limits but maybe providing a certain number of players to a draft. At least helps the smaller teams be more relevant and would probably increase the number of fans watching them too cuz they’d be interested in the development of players who might’ve been deemed as busts or not too good.
The problem is the big teams who probably want to hold on to as much of their youth for as long as they can to fully benefit from their development. I doubt something dat mainly benefits small teams would ever be instituted, teams could always just loan them out instead and they definitely don’t see a need to add a system dats basically them giving up prospects for free.
@@mandafrombk yea your right big teams would probably never give up talent for free to smaller teams but it would be interesting on how it would be played out and how smaller teams would benefit!

football is a global sport unlike handegg and the nba which is basically an american thing
Basketball is a very global sport, the last 3 mvps were foreign players.
@@JSA-Studiosyea but they only play in one league which is the nba. Soccer has like 6 big leagues and many other leagues that all can play against each other in ucl Europa league or uecl. I got so many option unlike nba and nfl
@@Master-vh2wm There are also multiple Basketball leagues outside of the NBA. Spain, Turkey, Russia, Germany, Italy, France, Greece, Lithuania, all the former Yugoslavia Countries together, have basketball leagues. They even have a UCL equivalent in the EuroLeague. These are just Europe base leagues, and not all of them in fact. SA, Africa, Asia, and other NA countries have their own leagues. Baseball and Hockey also have multiple other leagues outside of the MLB and NHL. If your goal was to sound like the average NFL fan when it comes to talking about other sports, you succeeded.

alot of thouse teams are bad because the big teams just buy their players. And all of thouse players whant to leave because the bigger teams pay more.
This is inspired by comment from tifo football. EPL to championship is like no relegation
uefa has had talks about implementing it but it makes no sense and also some broke clubs are looking for ways to maximise their revenue to compete with saudi owned clubs
