Wendy & Seulgi's vocals are among the very best of the 3rd gen. But the vocal harmonies of the entire group (especially on their more 'velvet' songs) are no joke! The two Red Velvet members. I love winter's vocal tone it's very prevalent in Priority (SMCU album; w/ taeyeon and changmin) and in Once Again (OST with Ningning) she has such a lovely vocal tone which not a lot of people realised when she's singing all these high notes in aespa's title tracks

I think "stamp on it" is basically putting your mark on kpop. like they say "there's history behind this player. someone can take the rule and change it but it all begins from me" like many new groups are changing the industry, speaking out and making such different music that kpop's sound has changed in 4th gen but we will ALWAYS mention the legends which BOA, SNSD, Red velvet and aespa are. Yep BOA is indeed the one giving you senior vibes! She’s been doing this for decades!! A FREAKING QUEEN!! Older KPOP fans of course support BOA and know what she is capable of and how amazing she is, but unfortunately newer K-pop fans don’t really give her the respect or don’t seem to care about 1st generation idols. They would just call them old and irrelevant. Which is just horrible and I don’t understand why they would say that about THE OGs who literally did pave the way for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gen idols. You got it on the first go, When i heard Step Back for the first time, it was fire, then you look at the lyrics, I was also like what ??? But it sounds incredible, 4 gen on one stage, it has never been done like this before. so I let it slide. Boa said in an MV review clip, she has never been in a group before, and this was the first time when she went to an Award Show, she did not have to sit on the table by herself. then Aespa said, Table? they only get chairs, they were happy to be on a table for the first time. lol So for you question, letting the girls have longer parts to express better? the song is already 4 minutes, and there are 7 girls, so this is the problem with groups with many members, finding enough screen time to fulfil the talent and entertainment portion. I think what you want is a solo stage. lol where they can showcase themselves. and this pairing, is extremely difficult to give each girl more time to shine. 1 rappers and 6 vocalist , who gets to shine more than the other. age before beauty, they are all beautiful. Karina is the only rapper, so IDK who gets to have more vocal lines.

What I loved most about GOT is that we get to see MAIN DANCE Karina. GOT's and hot & cold's choreographies showed how talented and accurate she is as a dancer, because in aespa the choreo is not so good. Her fancam has the highest views , she really show how a good dancer she is with GOT.

She is such a queen and has been in the industry since her debut in august 2000 and still is killing it… she’s known for her tricky choreography and husky, raspy vocals. A few fun-facts about her is that she actually saved SM Entertainment from bankruptcy when she was only 15(debuting at 13), with her promotions in Japan!! She can Dance, Rap, Sing and is known for her alluring stage presence. I think "stamp on it" is basically putting your mark on kpop. like they say "there's history behind this player. someone can take the rule and change it but it all begins from me" like many new groups are changing the industry, speaking out and making such different music that kpop's sound has changed in 4th gen but we will ALWAYS mention the legends which BOA, SNSD, Red velvet and aespa are.

She and RV's Irene have some duo work together Monster and Naughty that are out of this world next level blow your mind good. Seulgi also has a solo MV 28 Reasons and mini album, so that's a really easy place to start that's not overwhelming and self contained

Yep BOA is indeed the one giving you senior vibes! She’s been doing this for decades!! A FREAKING QUEEN!! Older KPOP fans of course support BOA and know what she is capable of and how amazing she is, but unfortunately newer K-pop fans don’t really give her the respect or don’t seem to care about 1st generation idols. They would just call them old and irrelevant. Which is just horrible and I don’t understand why they would say that about THE OGs who literally did pave the way for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gen idols. But I’m going off tangent. BOA IS A QUEEN and I agree I wished we had more BOA shine in these songs. But again you have 7 very talented ladies in one group… you have to distribute lines equally..sometimes you have dull that shine for the sake of the group. But their B-sides are 🔥🔥🔥🔥 you’ll hear more for each members in those tracks.

There really isn't another company that can put together a group of performers from 1st gen through 4th gen at this calibre (and really only possible because of the longevity of a legend like BoA; they have artists who have long, varied careers and I just love that more than any short-lived chart results)
Anyway, especially in an industry that tends to tell performers (ESPECIALLY women) that they are past it or "no longer relevant" I just adore how GOT the Beat just goes ahead and asks.... What do you mean? Watch this. We can all come together and be a great team.

You got it on the first go, When i heard Step Back for the first time, it was fire, then you look at the lyrics, I was also like what ???
But it sounds incredible, 4 gen on one stage, it has never been done like this before. so I let it slide.
Boa said in an MV review clip, she has never been in a group before, and this was the first time when she went to an Award Show, she did not have to sit on the table by herself.
then Aespa said, Table? they only get chairs, they were happy to be on a table for the first time. lol
So for you question, letting the girls have longer parts to express better? the song is already 4 minutes, and there are 7 girls, so this is the problem with groups with many members, finding enough screen time to fulfil the talent and entertainment portion. I think what you want is a solo stage. lol where they can showcase themselves.
and this pairing, is extremely difficult to give each girl more time to shine. 1 rappers and 6 vocalist , who gets to shine more than the other. age before beauty, they are all beautiful. Karina is the only rapper, so IDK who gets to have more vocal lines.

What I loved most about GOT is that we get to see MAIN DANCE Karina. GOT's and hot & cold's choreographies showed how talented and accurate she is as a dancer, because in aespa the choreo is not so good. Her fancam has the highest views , she really show how a good dancer she is with GOT.
