It’s ICONIC because i love how they started their career with a fun cute concept and grow up with another concepts but never lost their touch which makes them more ICONIC
I feel like if we're talking "flavours", I feel like just pure Cuteness is only Sweet flavour, like cotton candy. But Twice's cute flavour is more like like citrus-y "fruity" sweet - like Sprite or something. It's refreshing, because they're not only cute, they're also bubbly, energetic and sort of "rebellious" (in a cute way). I also think that's why people who say they "don't like cute songs/concepts" actually tend to like Twice, because they might be thinking of "cotton candy"-cute, but Twice is more like "sprite"- cute.
I really suggest you to watch a guide of twice, because there're amazing performers but most importantly they all have one of the kindest and funniest personalities in a KPOP (my opinion of course but I'm sure a lot of people would agree with me)

It covers the basics, but there's also a 2022 one by a channel called HoneyBear. I highly suggest you watch both Yetti, I think You'll get a good grasp of the members, both as they were when they debuted, but also what they're like now, 7 years later. :)

i really appreciate how you are focusing on Chaeyoung's parts! Ppl dont appreciate her enough! she doesnt get much lines or rap lines (considering she is the Main Rapper) in their title tracks but she def shines in their bsides.
i dont think people understand the concept of positions. their positions doesnt justify their amount of lines, its only highlighting their ability. just because the word "main" is in there doesn't mean they are the center focus, let me remind you the word "lead" in lead vocalists and lead rappers, they LEAD the vocals and the rap parts that's why nayeon leads most of the choruses with jeongyeon then jihyo after them becuase they are the LEAD vocalists, and dahyun LEADS the raps because she's the LEAD rapper followed by chaeyoung. don't misunderstand the positions lol

twice has some of the best choreographies among K-pop girl groups!! it's crazy how they are so synchronized and how every single time they perform they give their 100%!! fancy is my all time favorite song!! the grab it has had on my for the past 3 years is insane...but yeah, that's twice!

It's so interesting to hear you talk about Chaeyoung and how the raps she has don't really give her the opportunity to really show off. Considering, during their survival show SIXTEEN and Like Ooh-Ahh, she was beginning to be recognised as a emerging idol rapper, the way JYP let some of her skills regress is a shame, tbh.
Her change of image is crazy tbh, the other contestants literally feared her and the only one to ever win against her was Jihyo. Most of her best raps are also from Sixteen
She deserves a sub unit or something. Like she’s such a good rapper and arguably one of the tops of third gen. She’s just unable to reach her full potential
I don't think her skills have "regressed" - she has some awesome raps on b-sides - but I definitely agree that JYP aren't using her for her full potential, or letting her "stretch" and get a rap she can really sink her teeth into. Her self written rap she did for the "VS" competition in SIXTEEN is one of my favorites from her, as well as the one she did for "Greedy", and "Work" (where she dissed the haters x)but in their "main" songs she's really been given things that are "too simple". I feel the same way about Jeongyeon, she has this awesome deep, full voice, but since Twice had such a cute concept (at the start at least) they didn't really know what to do with her. I hope we get to see more of the both of them, or that they get solo things where they can really stretch and show what they can do when they're given free reign.
So this girl at 27:49 and 1:34 (Mina) is actually a ballerina !! And she is even the main dancer as well as Momo (a dancing machine who is extremely talented). A lot of people say that Mina does not deserve to be the main dancer, but she has a really great technique and a good sense of rhythm.
i agree! there is a wide genre when it comes to dancing, and as they say, it's indeed subjective to say who's best and how good of a dancer someone is. but Mina has really great technique, mostly seen in their slower or more elegant songs like cry for me, say yes, alcohol-free, and especially in 132 where she can fully showcase her skills and truly shine!!!

Some people love to discredit Mina because they're used to Momo's style of dancing thats more sharp and poppy (thats more usual in kpop) while Mina is more flowy and smooth, but JYP kept them both as main dancers precisely because of their different style and the contrast between them creates a beautiful harmony, specially when they dance together just the two of them its fun to watch them perform the same dance and see the difference between their styles
I just wanna say thank for giving TWICE a chance, because people don’t really dig dive to this group because they tend to base them for just being “Cutesy” when this group have proven multiple times how they grow both in their music and as an artists. You have seen their latest mvs and to their oldest and you can really see their growth to their music. TWICE is also one of the most diverse group in kpop they have been constantly trying new sound/genres without erasing or changing their color and music style. (Ex. TT = Color pop, Alcohol Free = Bossa Nova, I CANT STOP ME = Synth wave/Retro) (Fun Fact: TWICE 3rd full length album called “Formula Of Love” released last year 2021 is the highest-rated girl group and K-Pop album of all-time on Metacritic) TWICE is also the girl group with the most credits for songwriting/composition/production in KOMCA and that make’s me so proud because they enjoy theirselves in doing this and kept on growing as an artists. The way you analyze their mvs is so accurate specially on Feel special and their debut song, and with that you easily became as one of my favorite reactors. I guarantee you’ll love this group as you explore and dig dive through their Discography and even more through their personalities as a group. They recently renewed their contract this July 2022 as a whole group and just like any other groups out there who will discuss it together as a whole group but surprisingly they didn’t and it’s because these girls believe in each other alot and have always mentioned how they’re a family to the point they already knew each individuals answer and that is to stay together. Can’t wait on your journey with TWICE and maybe a guide next or album listen 💕💕

She has a lot of talent for example she is veryyyyy good at art, she can play instruments, she wrote so many songs for group and she designed the logo of twice. She is trullly ace. She is my first k-pop bias and she is my ultimateee biasss. I love her so much

The song that came after "TT" is called "Knock Knock", and it's personally one of my favorite songs from them. And "Like Ooh Ahh" _was_ their debut. It came out on the 19th of october 2015. Also I'm pretty sure Jihyo says "who's your mama?" because JYP himself had a song with that same name that came out in april of 2015. JYP likes to connect or make references to other songs from the same company. 😅

Chaeyoung is such a great songwriter. I suggest you listen to their b-sides, such as B1&2 basics. Chae's lines on their title track are often catchy and easy to remember

chaeyoung is really powerful! her raps are definitely more toned down in their main songs, but i recommend just checking out her own written songs like recently they released with talk that talk- one of the bsides is “basics” and it’s definitely awesome!! also people really need to give twice’s bsides a chance! their main songs are main for a reason, but they have so much music out that is awesome that isn’t even a main song. i definitely recommend just taking a look at their whole discography
"Their brand of cute is funny, it's not cringey." 💯💯💯 Definitely why I fell in love with them. I didn't discover them until "Fancy" came out, and everything before Fancy was all cuter, but I was happy to discover that it wasn't hard to watch/listen to 😂 It doesn't hurt that all of the songs are insanely catchy as well.

I thought this in the last video too, but you are so extremely observant, I find it really impressive and it's what makes your video's so entertaining to watch. The fact that you were so quickly able to pick out the main dancer and leader last time and also noticing that Mina has in fact been trained in ballet, noticing just through the MV's that Nayeon has a very playful personality. You don't just watch and nod at a video, but actually go into everything you see and it makes for very fun and engaging content, yesyes. I also like how you comment on the more toxic and dark undertones in their cheerful music. I personally feel like 'Likey' is a great example of this too, since it's a song about trying to hide every bad part of yourself and only showing the cheerful side online, which is reflected in the music video being very cutesy, cheerful and perfect. It always gives TWICE songs so much intrigue
I LOVE the rap line in Twice, especially when they sing. Dahyun's voice is so sweet, Chae's is so sassy and Momo's is so sexy. They've written some of my absolute favorite B-sides too. Chae's been featured much more in the past few years, and recently Dahyun and Momo have been getting some great singing moments (Kura Kura, Talk that Talk) so I'm very excited for the future!
Twice have a LOT of fanboys like A LOT but fangirls are also very prominent. they are dubbed the Nation's girl group for a reason. every member is equally popular and unique. so do check out a guide IF you have time

@@Yetti. Their latest Japanese releases are Doughnut (phenomenal), Perfect World, Kura Kura (my fav from this list) and Better. Just like with their Korean, their Japanese also evolved from being cutesy to quite mature and it was amazing seeing them improve a lot.

Wow, I wasn’t expecting another TWICE video in a while. Thank you for your hard work, Yetti! TWICE is my favorite group after SNSD, as you said, their music is made to make you happy. On any blue day, just turn on TWICE and get an instant serotonin boost. You won’t regret getting into them! They have some of the most amazing personalities as well, their just VERY real which I love. Jihyo once said “with us, what you see is what you get” meaning that this are their real personalities, nothing is hidden, they’re not putting up a show. Also, they are very involved with their music, in concept development, writing and composing. The songs written and composed by the members tend to be my favorite in their albums. Can’t wait to see her into their extended discography, I assure you, there are no skips! 10/10 Eyes Wide Open is my favorite Kpop album ever, and it’s almost entirely written by the members. It's so interesting to hear you talk about Chaeyoung and how the raps she has don't really give her the opportunity to really show off. Considering, during their survival show SIXTEEN and Like Ooh-Ahh, she was beginning to be recognised as a emerging idol rapper, the way JYP let some of her skills regress is a shame, tbh.
Her change of image is crazy tbh, the other contestants literally feared her and the only one to ever win against her was Jihyo. Most of her best raps are also from Sixteen
Honestly, they ruined her maximum potential.
She deserves a sub unit or something. Like she’s such a good rapper and arguably one of the tops of third gen. She’s just unable to reach her full potential
I don't think her skills have "regressed" - she has some awesome raps on b-sides - but I definitely agree that JYP aren't using her for her full potential, or letting her "stretch" and get a rap she can really sink her teeth into.
Her self written rap she did for the "VS" competition in SIXTEEN is one of my favorites from her, as well as the one she did for "Greedy", and "Work" (where she dissed the haters x)but in their "main" songs she's really been given things that are "too simple".
I feel the same way about Jeongyeon, she has this awesome deep, full voice, but since Twice had such a cute concept (at the start at least) they didn't really know what to do with her. I hope we get to see more of the both of them, or that they get solo things where they can really stretch and show what they can do when they're given free reign.

So this girl at 27:49 and 1:34 (Mina) is actually a ballerina !! And she is even the main dancer as well as Momo (a dancing machine who is extremely talented). A lot of people say that Mina does not deserve to be the main dancer, but she has a really great technique and a good sense of rhythm.

i agree! there is a wide genre when it comes to dancing, and as they say, it's indeed subjective to say who's best and how good of a dancer someone is. but Mina has really great technique, mostly seen in their slower or more elegant songs like cry for me, say yes, alcohol-free, and especially in 132 where she can fully showcase her skills and truly shine!!!
So true! Some people love to discredit Mina because they're used to Momo's style of dancing thats more sharp and poppy (thats more usual in kpop) while Mina is more flowy and smooth, but JYP kept them both as main dancers precisely because of their different style and the contrast between them creates a beautiful harmony, specially when they dance together just the two of them its fun to watch them perform the same dance and see the difference between their styles
I just wanna say thank for giving TWICE a chance, because people don’t really dig dive to this group because they tend to base them for just being “Cutesy” when this group have proven multiple times how they grow both in their music and as an artists. You have seen their latest mvs and to their oldest and you can really see their growth to their music. TWICE is also one of the most diverse group in kpop they have been constantly trying new sound/genres without erasing or changing their color and music style. (Ex. TT = Color pop, Alcohol Free = Bossa Nova, I CANT STOP ME = Synth wave/Retro) (Fun Fact: TWICE 3rd full length album called “Formula Of Love” released last year 2021 is the highest-rated girl group and K-Pop album of all-time on Metacritic)
TWICE is also the girl group with the most credits for songwriting/composition/production in KOMCA and that make’s me so proud because they enjoy theirselves in doing this and kept on growing as an artists.
The way you analyze their mvs is so accurate specially on Feel special and their debut song, and with that you easily became as one of my favorite reactors.
I guarantee you’ll love this group as you explore and dig dive through their Discography and even more through their personalities as a group.
They recently renewed their contract this July 2022 as a whole group and just like any other groups out there who will discuss it together as a whole group but surprisingly they didn’t and it’s because these girls believe in each other alot and have always mentioned how they’re a family to the point they already knew each individuals answer and that is to stay together. And "Like Ooh Ahh" _was_ their debut. It came out on the 19th of october 2015.
Also I'm pretty sure Jihyo says "who's your mama?" because JYP himself had a song with that same name that came out in april of 2015. JYP likes to connect or make references to other songs from the same company. 😅

I thought this in the last video too, but you are so extremely observant, I find it really impressive and it's what makes your video's so entertaining to watch. The fact that you were so quickly able to pick out the main dancer and leader last time and also noticing that Mina has in fact been trained in ballet, noticing just through the MV's that Nayeon has a very playful personality. You don't just watch and nod at a video, but actually go into everything you see and it makes for very fun and engaging content, yesyes.
I also like how you comment on the more toxic and dark undertones in their cheerful music. I personally feel like 'Likey' is a great example of this too, since it's a song about trying to hide every bad part of yourself and only showing the cheerful side online, which is reflected in the music video being very cutesy, cheerful and perfect. It always gives TWICE songs so much intrigue

I LOVE the rap line in Twice, especially when they sing. Dahyun's voice is so sweet, Chae's is so sassy and Momo's is so sexy. They've written some of my absolute favorite B-sides too. Chae's been featured much more in the past few years, and recently Dahyun and Momo have been getting some great singing moments (Kura Kura, Talk that Talk) so I'm very excited for the future!

Wow, I wasn’t expecting another TWICE video in a while. Thank you for your hard work, Yetti! TWICE is my favorite group after SNSD, as you said, their music is made to make you happy. On any blue day, just turn on TWICE and get an instant serotonin boost. You won’t regret getting into them! They have some of the most amazing personalities as well, their just VERY real which I love. Jihyo once said “with us, what you see is what you get” meaning that this are their real personalities, nothing is hidden, they’re not putting up a show. Also, they are very involved with their music, in concept development, writing and composing. The songs written and composed by the members tend to be my favorite in their albums. Can’t wait to see her into their extended discography, I assure you, there are no skips! 10/10
