This is a very good wire stripper, perfect for beginners. Their Burlington, Canada branch is great, I damaged the machine by abusing it (Don't try forcing 3 wire through it (>>FORCE)) and bent the inside blade tower. They fixed it pronto. I've had this for 4 years and haven't needed to change the blade or the internal puller. It only takes about 10 minutes to master this machine. TIPS: be very careful with your cutting depth on stranded, if you go too deep you begin to make 1000s of sharp copper swords but still very easy to do stranded. 2) The romex hole attachment for this thing is awesome because it makes stripping up to 14/2 totally worth it. It will take the conductor sheathing off 1 of 2 conductors leaving you with a bare ground, a bare conductor and a conductor with the sheathing remaining on it. DO NOT RUN THIS LAST CONDUCTOR THROUGH THE MACHINE. It is a waste of time, without the outer NMD sheathing 14 and 12 gauge single conductor will get you #1 insulated copper price which is 30% less $$$ but with the remaining conductor sheathing weight mitigates that 30% difference, so it saves you time, effort and you get pretty much the same money. Thank you Burlington Stripmeister. Solid Machine.
Having trouble with the Romex feeding properly but that's easy to split the outer sheath by hand. And yeah I learned the hard way with my first pull of threaded, had tiny sharp swords everywhere, one stabbed me pretty good
It’s disappointing that the original doesn’t have a detachable cranking handle. True, it might take longer to strip, but at least it would be nice to have a quieter option. As well as those who don’t even have a power drill
It’s so hard to consistently feed the wite through it makes my drill over heat. The queen that moves the wire just spins and doesn’t actually move the wire. Super frustrating
I ordered a stripmeister finally and I’ll be stripping all of my wire over the next couple weeks because I have hernia surgery this coming Wednesday and won’t be able to lift
So glad you guys made this video ! The instruction manual is not no where near as thorough and useful as this video ! Thank you so much !

Good video and the importance of the 15 degrees. Also impressed with the ability to un-kink the wire; what a time-saver! /cheers ScrapBongo
Game changer
