- The Wrangler's 392 Hemi engine in combination with Jeep's active exhaust system has an amazing sound! Let me show you what Magnaflow did to my 392 and made it a lot better! Working around the Next venture motorsports skid plate system, the Magnaflow technitians are installing this aftermarket prototype exhaust system on my new jeep!

Much appreciated - your videos on the 392. I am still undecided on this beast. Having grown up with late ‘50’s, ‘60’s and early ‘70’s American steel and big block engines I appreciate the roar and thunder of a beast. Demo derbies will also forever be a part of my memories. I am still trying to figure out how to explain it to my darling wife. No way I can slip it past her; she has part of my life and riding shotgun from the beginning. Thanks!

Sadly, the “Karen effect” will soon pronounce the end of carbon-fueled engines and most of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s memories that we celebrate and that we fondly remember as part of our collective memory. It is not that we were ‘wrong’ as history will want to paint us; it is just that we not borne ‘Green’. Unless you consider the green Sinclair Dinosaur.

Good to see you again putting details to your 392. Each individual upgrade done to their Jeep is an imprint of themselves. That's why each build is different in its character. Even if it's the same owner. No two Jeeps are the same. Nice to see how your modeling this one along. I saw Brad's video on your build, it would have been better if it came from you on your channel, since this is your build your Jeep. Anyway will look for future videos of your experiences with your Jeep mods and travel.

Hey Marco, nice to see you on your own channel. I must say with that wicked sound of your exhaust those of us on the trail are going to be scratching our heads when we hear you coming down the trail. Great video it would have been really great if they would have done a dyno test on the rear wheels before and after the muffler exchange to see the true results but hey for what you're using it for you don't need a lot more horsepower it sounded great on the video and I think you're going to be really happy with the results anyway

That's the plan! I going to 4:56, the mileage is about 12-12:50 and up to 17 on the highway, pulling the trailer
Hi Marco, you are doing an awesome job setting up your rig and that exhaust sounds amazing. My wife was asking how’s the volume of the quiet mode with valve closed? Is it comparable with the stock exhaust?

Im planning on going 4:56, because Jeep offers that option on the 392 Recon edition so that’s probably a good route to take

I have the magnaflow cat back crawler for a 3.6. That engine died and I swapped in a 5.7 hemi. What is the best magnaflow or upgrade I should now install?
I recommend you talk to Magnaflow, they are constantly developing new products! They will give you a better answer than me for sure.

I’m getting ready to order a rubicon. Not sure if i want to make the jump to the 392. How many miles has it been averaging per tank?
I love the 392! but the mileage is 12-14 and 10-11 pulling the trailer
How is this system working out for you now? Now that you’ve had it for some time I’m curious about it I will be receiving my 392 within the next two months and I am mediately plan on changing the exhaust suspension tires etc. etc. I’m debating on which system to go with I know that Bourla makes two systems how do you feel about this system and did it increase your horsepower? Congratulations on the 392 Jon!! You’ll love it!! I love the whole setup on mine! The only thing needed it’s a regearing, I’m on 3:73 I will do 4:88 soon! I love the Magnaflow system on my Jeep, it sounds really really good, it did increased power a little but I’m not sure how much, I have should have Dyno it before and after. The quality and fit of the Magnaflow is 👌🏼
@@OVRLNDX thanks for your quick response, I will be running 39 inch BFG‘s which I run on my JLV6 pen star works great I will be upping my gearing whether it’s 456 or 480 eights probably 488 will be the best along with a bunch of other upgrades, I’m pretty sure I’m going with the same exhaust set up that you have I really like your jeep and your set up👍

I just went to OC Motorsports and I almost bought a system but they one they could sell, the quiet button wouldn't work so I backed out. They called me back and said MF would come out early January and give me a deal on a proto-type or early version that would allow the quiet button to still work so I'm going for it. Any tips or suggestions?
I suggest you wait!! It's worth it if you are going to keep the performance mode button functional! Magnaflow will release it pretty soon!!
@@OVRLNDX My 392 is going under the knife this time next week for magnaflow exhaust with the quiet button functionality and getting installed at half price at my local shop...wish me luck. I still wonder if I should pay and do dyno before and after to see what kind of power I really get out of curiousity..will be happy as long as I don't lose power

Curious about how much louder the new Magnaflow system over the stock system?
Example, if:
1. If stock Quiet mode = 3
2. If stock Performance mode = 6
3. Magnaflow Quiet mode = ?
4. Magnaflow Performance mode = ?
It’s pretty much the same on all modes, a different tone and the power is increased a little bit👌🏼

Sorry I'm a poo pooer, but an off road vehicle should be quiet. Nothing worse than being outdoors in the quiet then all of a sudden some yahoo with loud exhaust comes barging in that can be heard for miles.
It's not that bad! Specially in quiet mode
