this song feels like something you'd heard in one of zun's cds, i was absolutely not expecting this in a main series games so it really caught me off guard. if it wasn't because touhou 4 as a whole holds a special place in my heart I'd call this my favorite final stage theme, it's very emotive, relaxing yet tense, and the piano arpeggios make it feel powerful, zun really outdid himself with this one.
There are two types of fans when it comes to Chimata's theme. They either really hate it or really love it. There's no in between since it's such a 'unique' theme
That's actually the genius in it, you never reach the end of a rainbow (because it is a circle in the atmosphere). Same as Chimata theme, the market never really finish in a climax like in Th17, like a dying market, it goes up and down and up, again and again.

Best "Final" Stage theme change my mind
I can't change your mind, and I don't need to, it is still good taste. But final stages have hard competitors. My fav still is Fires of Hokkai.

@@johavasara A messy theme kinda of makes sense for Chinata and her story. Even her design. But I love it too
