    • @Georgieboy_4
      @Georgieboy_4 4 года назад

      @@404chan Let me school you with multipal reasons why this may just be the best catch in Marlins history.
      1, the clear early April high sky he had to deal with. If you’re not familiar with what a “high sky” is in baseball and how it effects an Outfielder reading fly balls then you need to research it. 2, the way the ball got caught in the breeze and took off (announcers mention it after the catch). He actually ran roughly 80 ft (backwards) to track it down at around the 420 mark. 3, the ball had a rightly slice which forced Pose to reach back behind his body at the last second to snag it. If you’re not familiar with what a slicing fly ball is then you need to research that as well 4, not being familiar with the new stadiums layout and habits. For example, how the ball carries and the wall jutting out like it does.
      I’m going to assume you never played the outfield at high level? I have. That’s NOT a knock on you. I’m just being real here. Sometimes a great catch in the outfield is more then just a dive or robbing a home run. In my opinion (considering ALL the factors) this catch was straight up sick. And yes, very possibly the best catch in Marlins history.

    Loria might be the worst sports owner of all time. Jim Leyland and Jack McKeon won the rings for us- not our terrible ownership.
