Same recipe I use except I melt the 1/2 cup sugar in a 4 cup Pyrex measuring cup with just enough water to just moisten the sugar and then cook in the microwave on high for 5 minutes or until sugar begins to turn amber. You'll be tempted to taste the caramel but don't. Fist time I made this I couldn't resist and ended up with a painful burnt mouth for two days. Also, be sure to have oven gloves ready to grab and immediately pour caramel into pans before it begins to set which is right away. Then once in the pan be sure to roll pan around to spread caramel even up to half way up the pan. One more thing, instead of using a bowl, use a blender. Cut the cream cheese into small pieces and blend the fudge out of the mixture. No need to pour through a strainer either and it turns out silky smooth. Perfect every time.

Oven temp varies so baka mahina. Increase the timing lang or adjust the oven temp slightly higher then check kung ready na. When the top starts to brown or dry, it means nag-seset na sya
Anyone who been tried the recipe or ma'am jannnete do I need to constantly add water in the pan or just continue cooking it until I got my desired consistency?

Fyi. Dont add boiling water to steam bath. Just add tap hot water. This will help with the sides of pan not getting shocked with heat.

Change and add a new one sa gawa na? So scrape mo ang burnt then gawa ka lang siguro ng bagong caramel then lagay mo na lang sa ibabaw.

Hi, I did not add water at all during baking but you can refill with a little bit with hot water during the first 45 minutes if you like.
