Thank you for the mention! I had to do that with the new oem filter I got even! So even the oem can be not the greatest anymore! Good stuff see ya next time!
When tightened down, the aftermarket choke flap rubs against the nuts on the filter and causes problems. I corrected it by taking a small sanding drum on my rotary tool and sanding a little from the nut sides of the choke flap.

Well chit I'll have to try that next time I never looked into why it didn't work just found the quickest solution but that seems to nake sense
