Thank you for your time and posting. So many paddles are coming out so quickly. I wouldn't say this is outdated at four weeks, but close. Thanks again. :)
I agree with your thoughts on most of these paddles and especially the ones I’ve played with. But then again, I’m also a former tennis player and tennis people seem to like similiar paddles. I usually agree with pickleball will’s reviews also… I try really hard to like the hybrid style or the almost hybrid style paddles and force myself to use them, but I always gravitate back to elongated… I think it’s because my strike zone is at the top of an elongated and with hybrid or smaller, it’s like I’m hitting frame because my brain is wired at a certain strike zone on a paddle…
@@Syndrome88 right I get it. But when you play years using a racket and have an exact spot where you strike the ball thousands of times, simply changing to a different sweet spot isn’t that easy.
I think you might have a typo, you have the CRBN3X listed twice. I think the one you rated as a B is actually the CRBN2X. Love your reviews, keep up the great work! 🙏🥊
I recently saw a guy review one of the top Selkirk paddles and he said it did not live up to his expectations. Later he came back and said that he had a chance to work with it and put some weights on it and all of a sudden he loved it. I have the carbon 2X. I added some weight to it and it improved it dramatically. He also stated that 90% of pros add weight to their paddles to customize it for their preference. So all base comparisons are somewhat moot because of the weight Factor. Correct?
Could it be that Joola improved the manufacturing process for both Perseus and Hyperion C2 recently so newer Perseus produced play similar to Hyperion C2? Or does it have to do with the paddle shape?
If you are one of the many who paid a premium for this paddle and got a dud. And Gearbox won't stand behind the warranty. Simply file a claim in your community small claims court to hold them accountable.

You're welcome!
Thoughts on the following paddle grades please: Selkirk Labs 002, Selkirk Labs 006, Volair Forza Mach 2. Thx
I do wish the Electrum Stealth paddles had come out earlier.

Supposed to be hitting at the sweet spot which is middle

Yes, apologies for that, I caught it at the very end 😅
Volair Forza not ANYWHERE on the list. Why?
How about the Selkirk power air?
Hey have you been able to test the gruvn muvn 13s? Very interesting stats on the paddle and tempted to get it however not many reviews
We don't carry Gruvn, unfortunately.

I wouldn't say they are moot because uncustomized playability being great is a good thing. But yes, customization can absolutely transform a paddle.
I agree the C2 is superior over the Perseus. I think the surface is different much grittier, more power and more pop and spin as well.
Ok, I'm glad I'm not crazy over here.
But Ben johns not using it?
If you think the V7 is good, you should absolutely try a Spartus Gladius Centurion. It's awesome

It could very well be. I don't think it has anything to do with the shape, though.
You need to test the new gearbox pro power elongated. Make sure to hit with it for at least 10 days so its broken in before you make your review.
Demoing it right now ⏳
I'm jealous but in a 'happy for you' way ! 💚🔥@@RacketsandRunnersPickleball
I hit with it for two months and never got used to it. Decided to sell it.
What shoes are you wearing ?
Mainly Nike Vapor Pro 2s with a few Gel-Resolutions, Head Sprint Pros, and New Balance CT-Rallys sprinkled in for good measure.
How come that CRBN2X is just a B tier paddle? I thought it's a very good one.
It is, I just think there are better options out there.
Nova in the S tier was the main one I was shocked by.
Nova paddles are the best I’ve ever played with, you definitely need led tape though
Give them a shot!
@@RacketsandRunnersPickleball haha agree, I definitely think they are the best all-court paddles
R1 Nova vs Hyperion C2?
Definitely a comparison I'd like to do! Maybe once all the releases calm down for a bit 😅

No labs paddles ? 005 006 ?
Unfortunately, they don't sell them to retailers.
…muted, muted, muted lol. 🔇 I enjoyed the reviews.
Thank you!
