    What size in tons press do you use? Is 6 tons enough and stamp and do this?

  • @Cynical1800
    @Cynical1800 Год назад +1

    Is there a way to use the press to stamp instead of hammer?

    • @poured_Silver
      @poured_Silver  Год назад

      Good question! I actually ended up doing that when I made another batch. It took a little bit longer, but a lot less issues with the impression. Sometimes when you hammer you get what’s called “double stamping or Ghosting.” With the press, it’s really easy to avoid that.

    Where do you buy you silver sheets, And Dies?

    • @poured_Silver
      @poured_Silver  11 месяцев назад +1

      Riogrande sells nice quality sheets in all types of metals. The dies can be found anywhere from Amazon to Harbor freight if you have one around you.

    What did it cost you for all the equipment?

    • @poured_Silver
      @poured_Silver  Год назад

      Hard to say because I bought everything slowly, but all of my tools were bought at Harbor Freight for a relatively cheap. The silver was bought from RioGrande. I'm guessing to make what i did in this video, I paid over 400 bucks, which includes the stamps as well.

    How'd you make or buy the stamp?

    • @poured_Silver
      @poured_Silver  2 года назад

      I made the stamp. I made the designs and sent it to a company that makes stamps.
