- The holy grail of Group B rally.... the Lancia Delta S4. What a machine! We were excited to get a few minutes to shoot a quick video of us taking this car out for the first time. This car was built from brand new/left over parts and restored beautifully! Now the job is to get it running at its absolute best for the American fuel and New England roads. Should be quite a journey!

Thanks! Yes, the car is currently in our shop for some upgrades to get it running even better. The plan is to get it done before the weather gets poor here in New England. Then some full feature goodness with proper all motor audio 🔥

My top 3 favorite racing cars of all time. Cool project. Can't wait to see the full video. I hope we can get an accurate presentation of what it sounds like from the driver's POV. The GoPro cameras always sound muffled and compressed.
Thanks for the kind words! We love this thing, it is a wild child. The plan is to actually work with a sound engineer and capture the audio of this thing with the most professional equipment possible. We want to capture the essence of the craziness come good weather!
@@Retroformance Oh, perfect! Might be a good idea to contact game companies like Codemasters? If you're not aware, they have the most popular rally game (Dirt Rally 2.0). The engine audio is alright but could be much better, more accurate. Low end frequencies are often lacking too. There's quite a few sim games that have the S4 and a lot of us sim racers very much desire an improvement in the accuracy and quality of the engine noise. If anything, there's a giant community of modders that would pay to have a professional raw audio file of the S4, especially from the cockpit. ruclips.net/video/fgoYt0cohi0/видео.html

For real 😭. Car has had endless delays, breakdowns, maintenance, now its in for some beauty-work. If we get it back soon the plan is to get some footage before the New England winter!
