- Welcome to my eight RUclips video! It's a new season, so that means a new Balance Council. And the Northern Realms has gotten a bunch of cards buffed. I include a few of them in my Boost NR deck, alongside cards that rarely see play. I hope you enjoy the video and I will see you in the next one!

This deck wants to make Archgriffin as big as possible by infusing it with Bronwen the Bold and get a lot of carryover in the other rounds. Therefore you would like to set this up in round 1 so you can also get double the value on Ring of Favor. Ale of the Ancestors is also a great card to play in round 1 because it allows you to go for the 2-0 in round 2 with Falibor.
We use Temple of Melitele to boost The Maiden's Shield to 14. When you are not able to open round 1 with temple, play it as your second card after getting it from leader. Make sure to shuffle back The Maiden's Shield with temple in the deck when its not 14 power. To ensure the grace 14, we can play Donimir of Troy before we play The Maiden's Shield from Knighthood because that way it will be boosted by 1 and gets to 14 power for the grace ability.

With that leader do you need Maxi? Better cards for that prov maybe.
I decided to play Maxi to ensure my chances of drawing the shuffled Archgriffin from the deck. Although I must admit that I also looked at other options because so far I didn't need to use it. Its just that I can't think of any other card. Any ideas?
