thank man. Make sure to verify that the checkpoint file is an actual stable diffusion model checkpoint and not some LORA checkpoint. as those belong somewhere else.
I kept getting a "Python not found" error. If you're having this try uninstalling python, and when reinstalling tick "add to path" then custom install, and tick "install for all users"
@@Zortec didn't even think of that, you're probably right that this was the true reason. I was installing into a folder in the root of my C:drive, so it couldn't see Python which was being installed to the user folder by default 🤦♂️

i totally agree. i have tested this on cpu and its super slow. I tried Amd and i legit couldnt get it working on it yet (its a bit complicated to get it going on AMD). But thankfully AMD will finally support CUDA so i think things will start to change hopefully.
@@challefd108 ZLUDA was shut down from what I heard from another RUclipsr. Which allows CUDA to work on AMD GPU. However another solution has comes and I believe it will be the be all and end all solution for CUDA running on AMD GPUs. Have a look at docs.scale-lang.com/manual/how-to-use/ I will see if i can make a video on installing this in the future.

Many of you getting this error because you guys don't have a NVIDIA GPU which most people used sadly. AMD and Intel GPU dont run CUDA (yet) So your only option is to run it off your CPU. on the bat file we previously edited, add "--skip-torch-cuda-test" and it should work If you want solutions that works with your gpu, its beyond hte scope of this video and its a bit complicated to set it up. so you will have to search it up and find what works. I tried for my AMD GPU but havent figured out yet how to do it yet. hopefully when i do i will make a new guide that also covers the Intel and AMD GPUs

This was working perfectly, but I ran out of space on my C drive and can't make more space. Tried installing SD on external drive and running into more problems.. when running the webui-user.bat it gives an error about git ownership not allowed on that drive. Any ideas?
thanks for your feedback. i will look to tone it down a bit. The HUDs (like the hands and highlight boxes) are added to make it easier to highlight where to go.
@Zortec the boxes and pointing fingers are great and are helpful, thank you. it's mostly just personal preference on my part I'd imagine, as I'm neurodiverse and have sensory sensitivities, especially to beeps, dings, high-pitched sounds, especially when played at the same time as dialogue I'm listening to. It's kind of sprinkled throughout the video but an example is at 1:00-1:24, especially around 1:23. No disrespect, and I appreciate the content nonetheless 🙏

Hey I have a question does the xformers tag impact the image quality at all?
from my experience not at all. its just helps speed up image generation from the GPU

install a fresh stable diffusion but in a different directory this time .

If you don't have the right graphics card, you will be chasing your tail for days trying to install this.

make sure you use a nvidia gpu

Go on extension. verify that these are eneabled and make sure to restart and apply the changes.

..Ok I got it working. Just had to right-click and open git bash in that folder and type git init to make the repository ok with that location.
glad you got it sorted. I have tried external drives before for A1111 and it worked fine.
