- Three months ago a frightened little 10-month old chimp arrived at Mefou Sanctuary after being confiscated from an ape trafficker. After weeks of round-the-clock love and care, Farah has been introduced to three new friends, who will form his new social group.

It's so precious to see how his first friend kissed him and hugged him. They are smart and sensitive animals and need love to feel happy. Thank you for caring for these precious orphans. God bless all the people who help these innocent youngsters.
It is so lovely to see Lomié giving hugs to Farrah. Lomié was the smallest chimp when I was at Méfou.
He just wants hugs 😭 poor baby was making up for the love he missed from his mom.
The emotional intelligence of these precious souls, in the way they immediately reach out to another in need, far exceeds that of the general human population. Thank you for all your loving devotion that makes the happy lives of these children of a different kind, possible.❤

I pray that the mental scars on these sweet babies disappear with time and the love & devotion of the sanctuary staff. The babies are so supportive of each other, and find comfort in each other's arms. Lomie keeps kissing Farah, and little Farah hugs and treats Lomie like his mother. May God be with ALL of you!

Every living creature needs a friend
I'm in tears! I have watched this many times and it warms my heart more each time! I am so thankful for all the beautiful men and women who are generous with their time and/or money to help these animals! How people have such dark souls and hurt any of them I will never understand nor do I ever want to.

What a sweet gesture giving Farah a kiss on the forehead. So much 'good medicine' being shared between all the little chimps. So sad that mankind has such an obsession with taking primate babies as pets. I pray that one day it becomes illegal EVERYWHERE!

Try to imagine a completely alien being coming to the sanctity of your home and all of a sudden violently murdering everyone you know and love. The grabbing you and throwing you in a cage and taking you somewhere around a bunch of other alien beings that make noise from their mouths and move their bodies in ways that is extremely bizarre and unfamiliar to you. I shudder at the thought.
Very good explained!!! I always think like that way if humans hurt animals. And I try to explain this in this way to other humans if they are not compassioned enough to the suffering of animals. When I explain it in that way the suddenly understand it much better how it must be to the poor animals.
Not to be an ass but monkeys and chimps and humans have the closest “moveset” out of any animals, so it wouldnt really be “alien” to them.
It happens in the UK all the time between humans. They are pure evil. Anyone who harms an animal or other human like this is pure evil and in my opinion should be shot dead. We don't need or want them on our planet.
